My conclusion is that GLs are just simply a few years behind BLs, and they havent started to colour outside of the lines yet, esp with female characters. I feel like it's the same story over and over still.

I'm Bi and I would agree with you here. GLs arent as big a market to begin with and the ones I've tried, I just wasn't interested in. I would like to give GLs more of a stage in my entertain but, I dont like every BL so I'm just assuming that I havent found the right ones yet LOL

Our entertainment regularly portrays our wants and beliefs as a society, especially the horror genre. Understanding people is just understanding what they're interested in. It's a fascinating reflection 😊

Gawin has me rewatching Not Me, and I'm just watching him like, you know what? He may look more traditionally masculine at first glance, but damn, he has the most puppish eyes that having him play a more naive, 'sweeter' character (so far) isn't the bad decision that's it's being commented to be. No one beats First's puppy eyes, but Gawin is very close to it. At the minute, Tong is still in the 'what the heck is happening' arc and we're trying to ground things, but, I'm assuming, as Tong matures with the plot, and Gawin starts talking with his eyes, oooooo, I'm going swim through my heart strings LOL

Random can't sleep thoughts as I wait for Wednesday. Our imagination is a reflection of ourselves. Vampires started off as a fear of death and hell. Then it became a ghoul in the night feasting on babies and virgins. Then we began to humanize, sympathise and fall in love. Then along came half vampires, either through transition or birth, who could withstand sunlight and then finally, fully in the sun. Now GB has just taken another step and they're super humans frozen in time with the possibility of being able to turn back. Folklore and horror evolve with us and even though the execution might be a little clunky, its another interpretation of an ever popular monster, and I always enjoy seeing it.

I'm reminded of a theatre play I studied in school, where a young woman is found dead and through out the script, one by one, each character is found guilty of contributing to her final decision, but no one wants to reflect on their actions.
Whatever karma is between the people in this situation, is going to be one hell of a burden in the next life.
