Ok Ep8 and Male lead's character Xiao Han is INFURIATING. I mean his Characterization is understandable judging from his background and all But HE IS somehow freaking insufferable to the point I don't feel zealous to have him on my screen anymore idk😭
His is proud and somewhat aloof and the way he pushes his "ideology" to his mother and PUNISHING HIS mother for it. Like... let the woman be happy???

He honestly doesn't look old for the role.. Like let's be real... Some highschoolers are like that. I mean Highschool students doesn't look like 5 year olds

Might be an Unpopular Opinion from me BUT in as much as I love Zhou Shen Ost ( the ending theme song) I feel it'd be better suited for a modern romance Drama idk just gives me that Feels more and it's a bit hard for me to digest it with the xianxia aesthetics ( compared to SA DINGDING Ost ( opening theme)) which is think suited Xianxia most

And I understand all you said but I think it's preferences honestly I don't ship them. even if we see from his Pov I doubt I'd ship them.( I don't like romance from Male lead Pov tho..) Perhaps it's that Female lead thing ... we've already seen the FL so a bit hard to ship elsewhere
