I should know better, than to expect to like a series just because the rating is high. I was waiting for my summer…
This was my biggest issue with the show. There was basically no reason for the FL to like the ML and the didn’t have much chemistry. At least not more than her with LY. I also wished she got to explore her interests in architecture more and could’ve built her house.

The Emperor is really one of the best parts of this drama.
He is, I was scared he would disappoint me the whole time. My worries kept me on the edge of my seat. I was so happy he didn’t. In contrast the emperor in WRTW was so terrible. I was watching them around the same time so it really stood out how good the emperor was here.

I can't like the male lead in this drama. I love the actor but not this ML. He has embarrassed the Fl too many…
Of course he didn’t like her until he realized who she was. He was in love with his friend who he played online games with without knowing her appearance. He had no patience for girls that approached him romantically because of that. He also told her to act like a girl he would hate which made it even worse. The FL liked him because he was handsome first and then began to learn more about him and ended up developing strong feelings. The ML never saw the FL but just interacted with her while teaming up in the game and fell in love with her personality. If you want to compare who has the more genuine feelings it’s honestly the ML.
