yeah I can understand why that can be off putting. Since she isn’t the FL it makes it easier to ignore for me and the fact that almost every character is so relatable in their responses. So relatable it gets annoying because they do things in their fear and panic filled brains that hinders their survival.

Oooh ok sorry, I misunderstood then. It definitely is disappointing for only one soldier to be good at his job but I guess it’s because they never really expected to have to fight for their lives and ended up being really lax with their training. Although most of the time it just looks like they are too scared to pull the trigger but can make the shot if they did. Maybe they are trying to show that expectations don’t equal reality when a real disaster happens.

Awwwwww I didn't know they were making this novel into a drama! I haven't even finished the novel yet lol. I just started the first ep on Netflix and realized that it was the novel after hearing the name Mu Yao. The novel is a lot of fun so I hope the drama is too!!

Are they trying to whitewash Cui ShiJiu? Why does it seem like they are trying to make her a nice person all of a sudden? Also I thought the tribute was happening really soon, why is the Cui family still alive? I was hoping she would go away after it was known they didn't have the pearls for the tribute. I don't feel sympathetic towards her character at all, she's just annoying me now.
