"The Nokdu Flower" drama was endearing to watch. It was not just the drama of the story, but some parts of it were too slow and ended up being boring and tiring to watch.

Nevertheless, the performances were top notch. Yoon Shi Yoo was really good as the bad guy and the transformation of his character from the innocent royal boy to a rougthless politician was amazing. The ending was good as well. Another thing that worked for the drama was the intensity of the story. As it was based on true events, the drama was even more powerful.

However, other than the parts of it that were boring, the romance had only a few good moments as well. I understand that they wanted to focus more on the tragedy and less on the love story. However, a milde romance just didn't feat well.

So, six out of ten.

Reply 1988 walks in the footsteps of Reply 1997, only focuses more on the family dynamics and the old neighbourhood friendships. However, it wasn't as good as the other reply. The main reason that I preferred the 1997 reply over this, was the duration. The 1988's episodes lasted almost two hours each! And they were twenty of them (kudos to the producers; that must have been a challenge). Maybe for some, that wouldn't be a problem, but I personally prefer my dramas short -er, as it's more easy to watch. And the long duration makes it tiring at some point. Anyway, the 1997 reply's main reason for success was the kpop fangirling, that created laughter. Plus, the romance was quite interesting, as it was mixed up with the back and forth of the story. The Reply 1988 had a nice romance, but it was a little predictable and the chemistry between the two of them wasn't that good (I would have preferred the girl to have ended up with another character, as they looked better together). The family stories were quite good, and for me, were better than the friendship-romance. But, in the end, it was a so so drama, with a story that didn't keep the interest till the end, so 3 out of 10, for the good performances.

Not Good Enough

Korean Drama " Our Blooming Youth " is a historical drama about a cursed prince and a wrongly accused lady.

The drama has a strong start and offers a few mystery cases that were interesting to follow. The main female lead was also a flesh note to the historical drama and she did a good job with her action scenes.

However, the drama got quickly boring and stuffy. Its length also didn't help with the enjoyment of the drama. The romance, in addition, was not smooth and was probably not that necessary for the main plot. The couple had few romantic moments and their falling in love was out of the blue. Not to mention that the love triangle was boring and eye-rolling worthy.

The performances, though, were nice by everyone in the cast.

So, overall, three out of ten.

Japanese Drama "Kieta Hatsukoi" is a story of a series of misunderstandings.

The drama starts on a cute note and continues that lighthearted, sweet atmosphere till the very ending. The main lead is adorable, too boot, with plenty of lovely moments that he executed brilliantly. The love story was equally adorable and the main couple had great dynamics, which helped a lot. The second couple was enjoyable too, but had a messy process. And, admirably, the first part of the drama was better than the second one, which was pleasing, yes, but started to slow things down a little.

Finally, the performances were great by everyone in the cast.

So, overall, 7 out of 10.

" Watashitachi wa Douka Shiteiru " was a telenovella consetrated into eight episodes.

Trully, the story had everything, from a tragic romance to a revenge plot, in addition to heartache, family issues, mysterious characters, health problems, a fire, stricked traditional family, love triangles, time skipping, murder, infidelity and more. But, overall, the drama focuses on the first two, with a love story that had a sudden start (honestly, the marriage proposal was too quick and not at all of my taste), but it smoothed the pace after that rushed begining, having many dramatic moments, many cheesy ones, many sad and a satisfying conclusion. That said, the couple had chemistry and looked good together.

However, the revenge twist was more interesting, as it was less predictable and had a solid and surprising ending. The murder case kept things thrilling till the very end and the dynamics between the two female leads were spot on.

Finally, the deserts were pretty and they presented their manufacture well and in details.

So, overall, seven out of ten.

Rooftop Prince is a classic K Drama that one should watch, although, the further you are in your K drama experiance, the least good you'll find this one. First of all, the idea was interesting and entertaining, with the romance good enough to keep things interesting till the end. The past story was okay too and the family drama was good as well, with enough drama to keep you going. But, the drama was full of cliches, with the missing daughter, the evil male rival, the rich grandmother etc etc. At least the theme was original. In addition, the length was too much, as it could have been a few episodes sort. And yet, the ending was a bit too quick, leaving things hanging. So, 5 out of 10.

One of the few dramas that score for me over 7! I don't know if it's because this is the second K drama I had ever watched and thus I feel quite fond of it or because this is the only drama I've found till now that debates on relationships so openly. Even so, this drama is one of the best for me and a must see, if you want to spend a quiet afternoon watching it. The main story is about an apartment building and it's residents, a newly wed couple, two roommates, an unmarried couple who lives together and a woman who's dating a younger man. Each episode is focused on different stories that, most of the times, end in one episode or two. I liked that this drama was so open about the relationships, as it was free of those taboos (there was even a gay couple). The humour was plenty, with the jokes very entertaining without being silly. And for me, that dirty- innocent humour is the main reason why I love this drama. Most of the dramas you can find are about one main story, but the lover is more about laughter, a true comedy rather than romance, even though you'll find yourselves routing for the couples. The performances must be considered for the success of the comedy part, as the actors were a delight. Now, the soundtrack wasn't the best, but good enough. So, 9 out of 10.

Good Enough

Japanese Drama '' 366 Nichi '' is a romantic melodrama about second chances in life.

The drama starts out pretty strong, with the tragedy striking fast in the first episodes and enhancing the dynamics between the group of friends. However, somewhere midway the drama had to deal with too many plotlines, leaving them half-baked and making this one a tiring watch. The addition of a love triangle didn't really help to that either.

Still, the ending was quite emotional and the family part was sweet and melodramatic as well.

Finally, the performances by every actor and actress in the cast, but, especially, the two main leads, were all enjoyable.

So, overall, five out of ten. The drama kind of lost its way halfway through.

Good Enough

Korean Drama '' Perfect Marriage Revenge '' is a fantasy melodrama with a nice start.

The drama indeed starts off strongly, with the makjang vibes really rocking it, as the main female lead was being bitten down again and again by her evil adopted mother and her daughter. The love story that started to bloom was quite interesting as well.

And sure, there were some really idiotic things happening to the characters, but the melodrama allowed the story to be excused from them. The ending, however, and the episodes towards it, were all something that the makjang genre didn't support. The drama started focusing more on the romance, hence, it didn't have enough time to wrap up nicely the rest of the storylines. And, the fantasy element that was used in the first episodes and was forgotten in the middle ones, was brought out again, and wasn't handled smoothly, rather, it was quite rushedly concluded.

So, overall, four out of ten.

Good Enough

Korean Drama '' The Kidnapping Day '' is an intense thriller with a sensitive side.

The drama starts off quite strongly, with the pair of kidnapper-child being enjoyable to follow, as they start bonding and forming a somewhat family. Their relationship was also what kept things going when the drama started flaking as well.

Actually, towards the ending, the drama's twists were a bit over the top and, again, the strong duo were there to save the day, even if the rest of the characters were frustrating to follow.

The performances, finally, were all great.

So, overall, six out of ten.

Korean Movie " Dream " is a classic feel good melodrama with a heartwarming plot.

The movie is enjoyable at first, though it would have been nice if they didn't focus only on a few characters and give some background and some screentime to the rest of the team's players. There were also a few funny jokes that spiced up the story.

It does get a bit boring towards the end, though the ending was a happy and satisfying one full of emotional scenes.

The performances, in addition, were enjoyable by everyone in the cast and the characters were interesting.

So, overall, five out of ten.

Not Good Enough

Korean Drama " All That We Loved " is a mini series about school, friendship, and first love.

The drama uses the trick of what happened in the past to present the story of two boys who grew up as siblings, but, apparently, something happened between them, for now they have gone their separate ways. And true, the friendship aspect of the drama was enjoyable to watch, as their sweet relationship was indeed more than friendship.

However, things got predictable and boring after the first half, when the drama focused more on them loving the same girl and fighting over her. It would have also been nice if they had explored the cellular memory syndrome more rather than only offering some hints here and there.

As for the performances, everyone in the cast did a nice job with their characters.

So, overall, three out of ten.

Good Enough

Korean Movie " Decision to Leave " is a drama about obsession, love and crime.

The movie's charm is its oddness, with wild edits, strange POVs and magnetic scenes; a cinematography that trully steals the scene.

The performances were also great and captivating, especially by the female lead who was excellent. The rest of the cast did a good job as well.

However, dispite being intriguing at first, the movie fails to deliver enough emotion for the romance-obsession part of the film to be believable. And yet, that's where the movie should have exceled. Hence, the story feels flat and abstruct, with shots of the main character's life and a mystery that was partially presented. The finale of the film is probably its most intense part.

So, overall, six out of ten.

Korean Drama " Fanletter, Please " is a short and sweet drama.

The story is generic, yes, but it has plenty of sweet moments. Not as many romantic though, as it focuses on the relationship between the child and his father as well as the celebrity's struggles with fame and her background.

Unfortunately, and due to the short length of the drama, the story doesn't get deep into the characters' personalities and struggles, like the relationship of the actress with her mother. Rather, it keeps things in a balanced blend of fluff and melodrama.

On the other hand, the performances are enjoyable by all actors and actresses of the cast.

So, overall, six out of ten.

Korean Drama "Weak Hero Class 1 " is a school drama about school violence.

The drama has some interesting main characters, which carry the drama through the very ending. Strong performances, in addition, complete a perfectly well done blend and enhance the entertainment of the story.

Likewise, the cinematography of the drama was spot on. The series didn't overdo it with the violence and the gore, even though the story is pretty dark. Rather, it focuses more on the friendship between the characters and their own life struggles.

So, overall, eight out of ten.
