My understanding is the rating is comprised of user ratings for the show, and I've always been told rating the individual epsidoes feeds into that score as well?

7.6?! Why are people downgrading this amazing guilty pleasure, PNR romance-novel trope filled deliciously addictive drama?? Goign to go rate every single episode right now to help get that rating higher again. It was at 8.0 once!

My theory: the drugs are a placebo and Ding told him they would work because belief is powerful and he's now developing the skills to recognize emotions. He arguably always had emotions about the FL, just not the ability to actually understand them.

The wrap specials often have scenes we haven't seen yet. Don't click and watch it if you don't want to see them. It's like choosing not to watch a trailer to avoid spoilers.

This! Like some of the funnest moments are when they are clearly poking fun at the tropes in the show, ha ha.

Thanks so much for posting! It's so funny because I remember Jessie Ren said almost the exact same thing in one his BTS clips with her, about the first time he met her on set and he thought "oh, she's cute!"

🤣 It's a show that makes almost NO sense. Like, why is there some weird SF alien angle?? But it doesn't matter because the chemistry is *chef's kiss* and we're all just here for the crazy vampire/werewolf tropes, the sociopathic obsessive ML trying to become a Real Boy with real emotions, and the object of his affection, a FL who likes him in spite of everything even if she won't admit it yet. Oh, and her ruthless brother and the Ren who loves him. 🤣

IKR? #1! I'm trying to remember if Embrace in the Dark Night ever reached #1. I know it was up there but I can't remember what number it reached in the top 10.

Yes! Once you pay the $5.99 fee, everyday you get the two TVOD episodes. So today I just finished 13 and 14, and tomorrow I'll get 15 and 16.

Lolita soft pron, ha ha. No. Someone in comments was going on about how this show is basically pr0n and judging everyone while obviously still watching it themselves. Meanwhile, the leads don't even kiss until episode 6, and as of episode 12 have ONLY kissed. Are there lots of kissing scenes? I suppose. About the same amount as in Embrace in the Dark Night, if you've seen that.

And lolita? I don't even know where that is coming from. The characters meet briefly when they are both "high school age" but the show picks up after they are both post-college age. They are also roughly the SAME age. There is no lolita vibe.

I will add, there is s3xual tension all over the place, but calling it pr0n just seems ridiculous to me.

No one knows. Embrace in the Dark Night from the same director has a HE though, and they even did a special epilogue episode...so my money is on a HE.

You know, people are smart enough to understand a fictional fantasy. You sound like the people who thought reading Harry Potter would teach kids "witchcraft". 🙄 Enjoying a story does not mean anyone is romanticizing that behavior in REAL LIFE . Sadly, it's unlikely to get released. The same thing happened with Embrace in the Dark Night. I think a lot of short form dramas don't get OST releases.

It's not the same genre, but the same director and FL did Embrace in the Dark Night and there are a lot of similarities in style and sizzling chemistry.
