could someone tell me in which order the episodes were before they changed it ? i’m curious
The new order is basically chronological (the opening legend sequence is the same); the previous order started with Xue Ran Ran for a couple episodes, then flashback to young SYS in ep 3 I believe.

Ep 24 things start to come back, she knows she is Mu Qingge. It takes a bit longer for everything to fully come back, but that episode is a major turning point.
My only big complaint with this drama is more so, why doesnt Ying Tao Director ever does any super close up scenes?…
Maybe it's a stylistic preference, but I find the wider shots allow for a more grounded/natural performance and viewing experience. Instead of relying on close ups to affect a certain emotion on the audience, one can see the scene unfold as if watching a live play. But again, I see your point too and wouldn't mind some close ups of Deng Wei LOL.
Like many, I'm deep into my 2nd watch. Appreciating eps 11-20 more - things slow down but we get into the various characters more (MRW, Wei Jiu, etc) - makes the pay off later worth it in my opinion.
