There's a lot of great storytelling and thematic development in this drama - an unexpected delight in what I thought would be just a fun romance story.
Hey there! I think once his dramas air, there will be more action on this page. Hopefully not too much longer…
LOL. I think it's always hard when you have something as great as the LOTR movies to go up against. For what it's worth, I think S2 of ROP is a great improvement from S1 (which I did enjoy but I get where you are coming from with the outfits/look haha - it's better in S2).
I also watched Love of Nirvana with Allen Ren and Landy Li, which was sad but really great.
But yes, I'm missing Deng Wei and eagerly awaiting hopefully both of his already filmed dramas to air in early 2025.

I took a break from C dramas for a bit, watched Rings of Power and some other shows. I’m currently on Love Game in Eastern Fantasy, which has been quite fun.
17 episodes in, and this remains a well-paced engaging story with characters you care about. Even the supporting characters add to the story instead of making one want to fast-forward.
Finally started this today, I am so surprised how much I adore this. Esther and Ryan are brilliant!!!! Esther…
Yes, that scene in episode 6 was when I was like, hmm, there is definitely something special about this drama. Enjoy, I'm still catching up as well, it's a well-paced entertaining ride so far!
I’m so glad so far the drama has focused on developing its characters and not just jumping to romance illogically. 2nd ML and FL also feel like developed characters (not just there because). Overall, it’s also just been good fun.
