Why now? What prevented them from doing at the beginning. I mean I have been wondering for 14 episodes, what happened to the baby Feng Feng. Now they are adding scenes after the show is half done? Are they responding to viewers unanswered questions? This is truly confusing.

okay, yeahh!! ad slots do make sense from business point of view. But as a viewer, it motivates me to keep waiting for more episodes, instead of tuning in everyday for new episodes.

I adore her and the actress is to be credited for it. Her micro expressions are really good. The shudders when SMY cooks, her defiance against the big bad villains even when she scared.

Even before it was 1 episode a day, I felt i needed to watch a lot of episodes together to feel the plot progress, because i personally feel it's on the slower side, at least till episode 14 where I paused. And now it's 1 episode a day? I mean who came up with this idea and why?
Do they want to drag it all across november? I don't understand the rationale.
I understand the loyal viewers will keep coming everyday but it may not work for everyone. But I am not the management behind the show. May be they see a merit in 1 episode a day, which I don't.

I agree single actor/actress can't shoulder the entire 40 episodes. TTOEM worked for me coz like I said its same actor but different characters. And LXY did a great job at distinguishing each one. Here, that's not the case.

He is too genuine when he says he will try again, or ask the other aunt to teach him some tips, or he'll meet the chef of the restaurant to find out the recipe of the cakes BHH loves.. So who can stop him. They all willingly become victims of his cooking. BHH and SMY are perfect partners. If she can survive all his cooking taste tests, she can survive any thing..

he does and he has this belief that like he mastered his swordsmanship. Same way he'll master the art of cooking one day. BHH tried to explain, but he is that persistent. He is the most adorable assassin.

hahaa.. Oh it's fun. Every-time SMY offers to cook, they run no matter what. BHH is like let's go eat at that nice restaurant.. SCH -I'll pay the bill..
I mean his friends SCH, BHH, warm people that they should run away right this moment...
And SMY like innocent man that he is.. he gets ready to learn more and get better.

I have to agree on a lot of points you mentioned here. I am 100% on the same page with you about BR. They have actually built a very different world, even visually. I mean it's dark yet beautiful and I am one of those who keep guessing things about the plot, what next, I am always curious and keep looking for details even when there is none :) There is no direct comparison between BR and WoF at all. These are two different worlds in my opinion too. Action in BR is fast, brute force and crisp enhanced by dark settings, WoF is more slow, elegant and flowy with bright settings. both have their own charm.

As far as WoF is concerned, like mentioned I watched till episode 14 and now it is hold till BR is over. I also found TLC very much like TTJ, which is good but then it also the burden of sounding repetitive at a lot of places. However, I paused because I really want to give this show an honest try because I have been waiting for it a long time. TTEOM also had a lot of LXY but he played different characters so as a viewer I was not watching just TTJ but all so many versions of him. But that is not the case with WoF, its just TLC. Also I ranted about the red lady and random villains who just came out of nowhere fightingTLC, why? Because TTJ worked so well and TLC is not played distinguishably different (intentionally or not) no matter how hard I tried I ended up comparing the two, even to the level of their actions, shots, etc. I would not have compared WoF to TTOEM, had it not carried so many similarities.

Can not say about ratings, how they work, how much it deserves because I have plans to finish it irrespective of what ratings. But till epi 14, it did give me an impression that it won't really be a repeat watch show like TTOEM was. I mean I watched TTOEM a lot of times. Anyways like I said I'll finish it once no matter what ratings.

hahaha.. or the blade man episode 2, blade man episode 32.. OMG I am crying laughing... hahahaa

cool! Thanks. Good to know he doesn't die saving SMY. Else SMY will have another big baggage of guilt. And Tu master is a nice guy, so he deserves to live.

hahhaa.. this is best so far.. he does have a baby face. And still thinks he is powerful enough. Remove the Eunuch guy Zhuo from the equation and he'll be killed by his own servant, don't need skilled martial masters for that.
