I am eagerly waiting for this to end and you guys give me the good news that SCH is alive and it’s a HE but…
I think we might have to cry. If you scroll down and read some comments the author seem to have regretted writing the ending of SCH like he did in TBOY. With BR he thinks it is taken as a sort of parallel universe. I have no direct sourced but sharing this on the basis of post below. Guess the complete novel has different plans for BR and may have deviated a bit from TBOY. You can read it. As far as I am concerned I am not what will happen, but crying might be on the list for one reason or the other.
I am pretty new to C Dramas, I loved, slow mo in these shows when they are used effectively.. characters frozen in the same position for a sec (coz slow mo), people watching swords/weapons crossing through them (coz slow mo), clothes flying in air creating beautiful image on screen (coz slow mo), characters moving away right before the opponent came to them in slow mo. Loved it all.
But BR shows a totally different way. And I never knew it could be this amazing. If slow mo add beauty and fluidity to the scenes then BR style fast action portrays strength. Swords hitting at super speed, can feel the weight because the way it is shot and sound effects. No sleeves flying around just the characters fighting hard with their weapons. Enjoy this.

Interesting! So this is like the philosophical aspect of what this show is about. But in order to show this in terms of real actions and events in the show, is FZs revival part the climactic event in the show irrespective of what happens or FZs revival is a catalyst which could lead to something more beyond that? I mean I am trying to understand if everything leads to FZs revival part or FZs revival itself is one of the many paths that show takes to unravel more. I am just curious to know. Thanks for your reply :)
Hello! I have a question and I don't mind spoilers at all. What exactly is the central theme of this show? Is revival of Fang Zhuo (whether it happens or not- we'll see) the central theme? or it goes beyond that? I mean is revival part the climactic arc or does it become a sub arc leading to something more? Thanks

I am happy to see numbers for BR honestly, loving the show a lot. though this is not the right page to talk about that. So I'll stop here. For WoF, I'll be back to binge watching it after I am done with BR, I hope ratings go up. At least till epi 14 (where I paused the show) plot progress felt a little slow may be it gets faster and the ratings go up too. I have had these two shows on my watchlist for a long time. I really hope both of them do well!

Thanks for sharing. I had no idea about the numbers except BR. Someone had mentioned BR numbers on their page. They can change as show proceeds, right? no?
How is the score in douban lower than Blood River?
I have watched WoF till epi 14, currently on hold because I want more episodes to release (a single episode a day is torture). At the same time I am also watching the Blood River (it released earlier). I don't think two of these shows need to be compared and I don't intend to.
But i just got intrigued with this comment. I am not sure what rating WoF has but the comment (probably unintentionally) gives a vibe that Blood River shouldn't have the ratings it has (pardon if i am misinterpreting the comment in any way). I mean Blood River is a pretty cool show too. Different and quite grasping to me personally as a viewer so far.
I am genuinely wondering why compare WoF rating with Blood River's and not any other one? I mean both shows are very different. This is also one of the reason I put WoF on hold so I can enjoy it with back to back episodes and also by then I will be out of the Blood River style of martial world. They have developed a new kind of world building which is dark, even on screen, refreshing in a way.
BHH you are a sweet heart. Spoilers from episode 31.
She is not just talented in medicine crafts, but brave and intelligent. The way she protected herself with poison array so SMY could fight without having to worry about her is so smart. She could have tried to use some of her techniques to fight along SMY, or get into self sacrificing mode or something to protect SMY but she did not. She protected herself. Truly a friend, a partner for SMY.
SMY looked offended to the very core. He looked really pissed. Go SMY... goooo

May be as soon as they get done with Liy Yan track it will progress faster.

let SMY think she is gone. Let him bring the havoc that he is very capable of, but controls it always.
