Absolutely. SMY in white during Nan'an city was just angelic. Even their nameless era costumes (more like rags) looks good because they perfectly define the characters in that time line. Hairdo.. muaahh. love it. Againg young SCH and SMY with their half pony/pony they look so innocent like they should.
I'm really gonna need a character map to tie the characters together across the each series🤣🤣🤣
Imagine how it is for a viewer like me who has no idea about the other shows and character keep showing up from DY and TBoY. It like a history lesson, navigating through them. I can guarantee not even a character map will help me 🤣🤣 But I am trying my best and succeeding too to a great extent. Past few episodes my strategy is to watch twice. One to just pause and read every dialogue; then I give expressions a chance. Strategy for a show.. I am that deep..Aiyaaaa

haha.. SCH was actually agitated for some reason. To me it looked like MQY was hinting at SCH that now SMY is with BHH, so may be something can happen between SCH and MXW who even apologises to BHH (meaning accepting SMY and BHH as a pair)
It also looked like MQY thought, he himself has a chance to build a connection with MWX, thats why that farewell.
Else all this is just my mind doing its overthinking over nothing.
Episode 17- Scene- when Mu Qingyang and Mu XUwei left after meeting SMY, SCH and BHH
MXW apologises to BHH and said farewell. After her Mu QingYang said farewell too in a very teasing manner looking at SCH. Were they hinting at something, or am I reading too much?
Though I wait like a crazy person for the new episodes to release, only to realise that there will come a day (too soon) when there won't be no episodes. We are about to reach half way mark, Sigh!!
Ep 10 - 14:00-16:00 is good but especially 14-14:55 GJ's micro-expressions are absolutely on point.
Every thing about that scene is too good. I guess I fell more in love with the show even more after that scene. They got me invested real bad in this friendship, brotherhood, bromance, however one may define SMY and SCHs bond.
SMY has been most animated 'emotionally' in the show so far, when he began listing all the times they ended up in messy situations all because SCH never could control himself, or was that careless and reckless. The way he began walking towards SCH listing every past incident. His worries for SCH, so much so that he was ready leave his dream of being a free man till he helps SCH calm things down in BR and Jianghu. till they really reach 'The other Shore' SCH has been dreaming of.
SCH trying to interupt and SMYs 'Shut Up' took my heart away.
Mu Ciling is alive. I though he died in Epi 16. Good, he might make a come back, even funnier than epis 15. I mean man carried a long sword and got stuck at the doorway. I can never forget that scene, it was so funny without any effort 😅😅😅 Hope to see him again!

Honestly I also do not care about a lot of characters other than these two and the prominent characters from the team BR. New characters which are being introduced, I have build a connection with Xian Ruofeng so far. He seems to be a good guy and I like him so far. Other than that I know there is a long list of characters and some may connect, some will be just the body count. But I also know they all are part of the journey which SMY and SCH are on now. They are exploring and unraveling hidden secrets and truths, especially now that SMY has info on No-Sword City. So many more characters will join. Do I need to care about them, not really! But can the plot even exist or move ahead without them- again not really! So I am focusing on these two brothers of BR and their journey along with BHH, YMY, Uncle Zhe, MQY, Mu Licing, Mu Xuwei, Old patriarch now dead. Because the number of characters this show has, it would be impossible to care for each one.
