I have not seen the other two shows most of these characters are new for me.

Li Hanyi?? I can understand she must have done good job in TBOY but Li Hanyi did an awesone job in BR? She barely had any scene?
You say she has good make up and very next sentence her pimples are showing, isn't it contradictory or am I missing something?

You won't recommend this drama to anyone and at the same time you yourself won't stop watching it. Are you thinking you are doing a favor on the mankind by watching this drama so others don't have to?

Or you just want to enjoy and have all the fun all by yourself and would do everything to stop others from this little entertainment?

Sunny to sunny- no idea. Didnt read the novel.

I thought I had seen all kind of weapons a martial artist can use- sword, knives, spears, etc.. fancy ones like fan, flute, guqin... now umbrella..

And then I get to see SMY use his finger as a sword, a powerful one at that. No other weapon can surpass that I guess. What other powers are you hiding Sir?

Episode 13- fight scene between SMY and the Soul Hall Officials while BHH and the Wu Tan guy from the pleasure house watched on side.

SMY had all the time in the middle of the fight to clarify that it was Uncle Zhe who bought him to Entertainment Street (all while hanging in the air)
He even applied medicine to his injured finger IN the middle of the fight.

I am sure if he wanted he would have cooked another dish for BHH to taste, if there was a kitchen around, all while dealing with three officials 🤣🤣

To me it looks like SMY is a part of it, especially how he spoke to Water Official about it. It was like he willingly took the poison to make Yi Bu feel that he is captured for real. To avoid any suspicion he might have taken the poison while SCH fake attacked Prince Langya to make Shadow Sect believe that BR will definitely kill prince Langya to save SMY.
But in real their game is to pretend injury like SCH MQY did so that they can convince Yi Bu to let them call Blood River elite army. By doing this BR will easily have its force enter Tianqi city without any obstruction from shadow sect. And once they are all in Tianqi they will be a force big enough to attack Shadow Sect. This is my interpretation based on episode 13 and 14.

Also as per my discussion below I think both heaven and Earth official are dead, probably killed by SMY or even water official. And the heaven official accompanying water offcial is actually the shape shifter HongYing from the pawnshop in disguise.
Lets see how it plays in the upcoming episodes

I dont understand much of mandarin but I did hear SCH calling SMY 'women de xiao Su Muyu' (at least I heard so) - literal translation 'our little SMY, when he is with BHH, hoping Shadow Sect takes care SMY in the prison. That was so endearing,. Even if he said in a lightheaded manner, he totally meant it.

These two have me confused about their age dynamics since day 1. And every day I seem to shift my take with every scene. Sometimes I feel SCH is the elder one and the very next day its SMY.

Sorry guys if you come across my post about their age almost evrery day. But these two have me intrigued.

Its a part of the same verse in the following order DY>BR>TBOY.
However it is not necessary to have watched either DY or TBoY before watching this. BR focuses solely on the Blood River- the assassination organisation and characters related to it. These character exist in DY and TBOY but they are a part of supporting story arc.

same here. All I have gathered so far is he is Prince of Langya and he is against Shadow Sect. He wants to disband shadow sect. So he is like the good guy. Probably a good candidate to be an ally of BR in future (if at all that happens).
Shadow sect is using BR to get rid of Ruofeng so they can remain relevant, because they don't seem to be as powerful as they were when they came into existence.

Mu QingYang is so timid, how is he even the Mu Family leader. He is cute though.

and then we have Mu Qingyang as Mu family leader. How is he going to survive the next time there is a conflict between these 3 families..

WoH was some other worldly level like it was challenging the entire china.
BR is different but no less effective. Its done very well. They way they keep including FBs every now and then, the way talk about and for each other even when apart. The way they are ready to kill anyone but no one kill SMY or SCH. Its wholesome. Its doesnt need to be a BL. Its pretty fine the way it is.
