I have been yaping about the plot points of Episode 11 and 12, but I think SMY looked wonderful in his white attire. Especially in episode 11. He looked at peace, though short lived but peace nonetheless.
Watching it first time I was more focused on the subtitles because they threw in a lot of new names which I had absolutely no clue about. But when I watched it for the second time, i felt how impactful the entire conversation was. How SMY heard every word YI Bu had to say, only to give it back in the least possible words. It established the dynamics between BR and Shadow Sect. Shadow Sect is not going to have a free run now that BR is run by new Patriarch and Su family head.

The Blood of Youth. The very first show of this verse. Though the show was released long back but as per the story timeline, events in TBOY happen after Blood River. So TBOY has older version of SMY and SCH as compared to BR. I hope it makes sense.

I haven't seen the the show but I just watched the mentioned episode. Because I lacked any context of TBOY the scene did nothing for me, it was too quick and barely made any impact. Also SMY and SCH, especially SCH looked strange. SCH looked like Xie Ba (the xie family leader, now dead) more than SCH. This is totally my biased opinion after seeing anime and BR SCH. I agree they are older in TBOY, but I can not imagine BRs SCH ending up looking like TBOYs SCH in his 30s or 40s (not sure what's their age group)
However, if makers end up recreating a similar scene in BR, I'd be a mess too.

Excatly, they were side story that's why it didn't look impactful at all. If I imagine the same scene in BR, I can already feel the impact because I have connected with SMY and SCH of BR. If, if at all makers decide to recreate that situation in BR it would be full of emotions. There it lacked for me- 1. it was rushed like any show would do to wrap up a supporting plot point, which is okay in every sense. 2. I felt nothing of SMY and SCH because my first reference point is Anime and second is BR and they look far apart from what I saw in TBOY episode. Again I am not saying which one is better.

Cool! May be they should just announce BR is happening in a different universe. SMY and SCH in BR aren't the ones from TBOY- like the marvel studios has done with multiverse. I just watched episode 36 of TBOY and SMY and SCH there were like strangers to me. People like me who have no clue of TBOY won't mind a different ending at all :)
