Iβm not sure the show will reach that point in TBOY and beyond, cause beyond mainly focuses on SMY rebuilding…
You have articulated my thoughts way better than me. I also wish for the show to follow a similar track. What I meany by convergence with TBOY is that they should be able to reach the point where we can see things go in a direction where they show what lead SCH to take such extreme steps for SMY to kill him. SMY as a character would have tried everything before he tool that step. So how they reach thaf point is what I am also interested in. As far as storyline beyond TBOY is concerned it could be an episode 1 or 2 where they show what happens post SCH gone. They may not show SMY restructuring everything but may be a mention whether he was successful in doing so or not. How killing SCH affected his life.. may be him being old or something (if lives a long life) reflecting on hus life. Relations that survived and ones he lost. Idea is to have a show where they are able to show a closure. A show complete in its own entity. Hope its making some sense.
SMY lost one of his subordinates in his arms retrieving the Dormant Dragon Sword, he almost lost the other one if he had not traded the sword for his life. For him to find another DD Sword next to the patriarch. Must be 'what the hell' moment for him
I was just rating the episodes I have watched so far. I saw ratings on episodes which have not even released. How is this possible? I mean even episode 40 is rated already.
After a few detailed conversations here I got know that SMY ends up killing SCH in TBOY. And there are chances that storyline may converge with TBOY (Just speculation at this stage) storyline for Blood River characters. Another post I just read mentioned the fate of BHH as per the novel. Now I would really like to see the Blood River storyline continue and merge with TBOY and beyond TBOY. Wouldn't that be interesting. To see a full closure- Happy/Sad/Bittersweet for all the chatacters in Blood river. All this is my speculation and kind of wish based on my conversations and reading comments here.

Oh My goodness. That would be the best if they do converge. Because any ways they can not deviate from the actual ending of TBOY, so it would actually make a lot of sense to merge in my opinion. That can make BR a stand alone show without having to actually rely on TBOY for character arc closure. This makes me more curious. What nade SCH take such a path.
