100% agree with your comment honestly I find the brother ending happy compared to the kdrama aspect, even if Jaeyi's scene is shocking with her sister. For me, I would have loved a sadder ending to stay in the world of drama, but I'm satisfied!

The ending is very good and I honestly don't see what more he could have done. The kdrama already has a dark mood, you can't give it a 100% happy ending, even if for me here the ending remains more happy than sad. Then, I'd say it's an open ending, but also a closed one. A season 2 could take place, but it would be pointless given the way the ending is, and what's more, I really don't think a season 2 will see the light of day, especially after Hyeri's posts on Instagram.
But there's one thing I don't understand. I just saw that the kdrama was shot from June 2024 to November of the same year. Except that I saw another article which said that Lee Hyeri had received the first offer to play in July 2025. They were still looking for who would play Seulgi. So I don't wonder if they don't shoot before revealing everyone who will play in the drama? Then it's that quick to set everything up? Ex: All the members who will play in the drama are announced in July, is it possible that filming can start in the same month?
