Hey guys, this is my first comment/review ever on this site. Here are my thoughts on tharntype the series so far:…
Regarding Tar and Tharn... unless I'm going nuts (which is always a possibility, lol), I thought I saw an earlier scene where a friend asked Tharn why Tum didn't like him (Tharn), and Tharn said that he'd had a relationship with Tum's brother, that didn't end well. If I got it right, that would be the lead up to the Tharn/Tar storyline.
I'm loving the series! But am I the only one that isn't buying that Tharn is supposed to have just turned 19???
I would have guessed Tharn (Mew) as being about 26... and it turns out he's 28 in real life. I can believe that. While Type (Gulf), irl, is 21... which looks exactly right to me.
Don't get me wrong... I think Mew is an extremely hot, sexy 28 year old! He just doesn't pull off 19.
Gotta be stronger, suicide is never the right way and an insult to your parents and ancestors. If life sucks that…
At the end of the day, we have to live with ourselves... and some people have committed suicide BECAUSE of their parents. (I'm not saying that was the case here.) I think we should feel compassion for the hell she must have been going through.
LOVED the latest episode! So we've got five episodes left... I'm thinking Non is really going to start making trouble, lol. This is just a guess, but maybe he's going to "out" Kao to his mom... except I'm pretty sure she already knows. And the Sun/Mork story is really starting to develop. I'm looking forward to what's next!
I was going to say it's the best episode (couse i watch only Mork and Sun parts) but than again they didn't gave…
I haven't seen the episode yet, but remember that they are filmed in advance of what we see. Pete/Kao are the stars of the show (and most people initially tuned in to see them) so, of course, they are going to get more air time. The producers didn't know that Sun/Mork were going to be so popular with the fans. (I still love Pete/Kao, though.)
I watched as much as I could (meaning, through Ep. 12 -- after that the subs stopped). It was okay, probably I'd not watch again. I wasn't that into the main couple and I found Parfun annoying. And Kavin is just a jerk. But I loved Sis Pussy and her two co-workers, they were my favorite part of the series! Plod was sweet and one of the better actors, I thought.
I'm wondering if they have just forgot to add the subtitles to episode 12. Is there anywhere we can contact to…
Many people have been complaining about it on Part 1 of the Ep. 12 video on YouTube (in the comments). It would be very disappointing if they don't come up with subs for the last episode. I feel like they stopped caring, since it's now over. :(
I know that a subber's job is not easy, but it has now been over 9 days and no translation for the final episode.
I'm thinking this is being done on purpose to bump up views. Why? Because, on the official YouTube channel, for Part 1 of Ep. 12, there are more than 33,000 views, while the other parts of Ep. 12 have only 10k to 13k views. Part 1 must have so many more views, because viewers keep clicking on it, hoping for English subs.
And, when they finally do come up with the subs, that number is going to double, with all the viewers watching with the translations.
From a business perspective, I kind of understand where the producers are coming from, but it is really insensitive to faithful viewers that have invested in following the series for all these weeks.
Mork sings really well... what a pleasant surprise! (After having to endure the horror of Pete and Ae's singing in LBC, along with many other actors who should just stick to singing in the shower or in their cars... )
