I think there's no point in comparing the two series since they are completely different.
People will ALWAYS compare series and movies. It's why we have awards such as the Oscars, which have movies that are completely different from one another competing for the top prize.

i like the same actors that you like! For me, the biggest problem with the Thai BLs is the stories... the authors like to romanticize things like rape and violence. But I guess the viewers are fine with it as long as there is a lot of kissing and/or simulated sex. I like romance and sex, too... but not at the expense of a good story.

I think the only reason -- really -- that people "love" this series so much is because of the hot and sexy scenes. I like the Mew/Gulf chemistry, too!

But take those scenes away and what are you left with? A psychologically disturbed character as a lead (Tharn isn't that stable, either), a far-fetched plot and jealousy storylines that have become beyond tiresome. At this point I'm pretty much only watching for Techno's humor... love him!

he have big eyes..i'm not sure it's ha was "under the knife ", but they are big compare to 90% of asian population…
That's what I thought, too... so that's why I was surprised by the "American mixed" thing. It seems that, since Mew is the actor for the part, they could have left that detail out of the story. (I love Mew, by the way!)
