I'll get slammed for this, I know... but I'm starting to not like Third. Yes, I feel sorry for him, I guess. But he's just kind of dull and boring. (Cute, with big pouty, kissable lips, but dull and boring.)
This is no shade against Gun, he's a great actor and I like him in everything else he's done!
This is a very good example of the reality that you can't help who you love. Unfortunately in the real world,…
Probably many of us have been through a similar experience. I myself was... once and only once. For me (I can't speak for others), it had nothing to do with me actually being "in love" with the guy (although I was convinced he was the love of my life). It had to do with a complete lack of self-respect on my part (though I didn't realize that at the time).
The guy I was "in love" with treated me a lot like Khai treats Third (with the occasional sweet gesture, giving me hope). But it was never going to happen the way I dreamed. Subconsciously, I thought I deserved the treatment I was getting.
I knew the relationship was a disaster but hung on. It finally blew up in a big way (it ended horribly, with me being absolutely--and publicly--humiliated). The time spent in that trainwreck of a relationship was the worst time of my life.
So I get it. Fortunately, for me, that was the reality slap I needed to get on with my life. Never again did I (or will I ever) put up with an emotionally abusive person and I've been in a great long-term relationship for several years now. That was the lesson I had to learn.
Okay, I am invested in this crazy story and will watch to the end, lol!
But, serious question: what do you think it is about Khai that makes Third so hopelessly in love with him to begin with?
I mean, think about it... LOVE. That implies "the one," "Mr. Right," etc. What has Khai EVER done to earn that feeling from Third? All Khai does to Third is lie and use him, treat him with complete disregard. With all that, an occasional nice comment is hardly a reason to fall in love with someone. In fact, it's almost an insult.
But also you don't lie to your friends and don't invite them to go with you and then stand them up ( multiple…
Yes! I could understand Third's obsession if Kai was just a tsundere character, but he's so selfish and thoughtless, it's hard to imagine anyone wanting anything more than a one-night stand with him.
People, this series is based on a novel, novel has THE SAME STORY with some slight changes. I don't know what…
I hear what you're saying, but why should we have to read the novel first? Many of us just watch movies and drama series to be entertained. Most mainstream movies are based on novels... a series or movie should stand on its own and not require viewers to do time-consuming research ahead of time.
As much as it's okay to shower praise on this (or any other) series, it's also fine to complain on these discussion boards. And it's okay to argue, too (respectfully, of course). This forum is not a fan page.
I cant believe i have waited almost a year..or was it a year(?) for this show. Its 3rd episode and its basically…
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!
I feel the same way. The only reason I'll continue with this is 1) it's the only new BL airing at the moment (at least to my knowledge) and, 2) I do like the actors, from other series I've watched.
The plot seems kind of obvious: Third will eventually grow a set and stop putting up with Kai's bullsh!t, Kai will then pursue Third and they will fall in love and live happily ever after. I get it. (I don't buy it, but I get it.)
For me, the most annoying part is the way this series is dragging out the story. I'm with you: nothing has developed in three episodes... nearly three hours. I'm sure it will sort itself out, but I kind of wish that I'd waited to watch this series until after it was completed, so I could have binge watched it (and skimmed through meaningless sections). Oh well...
Okay, I watched without subs. Don't really need them, it's obvious what's going on.
Does anyone else realize that we have now watched three episodes of exactly the SAME THING?? Seriously, all of what we've seen so far could have been put into one episode. Instead of 12 episodes, this series should probably have 8.
Episode 1 was just kind of okay for me. The plot seems predictable (maybe I'm wrong) and, while I like Gun a lot, he looks to be playing the weepy, mistreated character he usually plays. I expect Third to eventually grow a set and stick up for himself, so I'm not really bothered by the story. I'll keep watching, but I have a feeling this won't be one of my favorite series this season. (Just my opinion, I'll be happy to be proven wrong!)
After so many years, in all honesty, they know they have international viewers, what they should do is put eng…
I hear you, @Ugly Duckling. Subbing is really hard and takes a long time (I've had to do it in other languages, not Thai). I'm wondering, though...
Why AREN'T the subbers paid by GMMTV? I mean, it's nice that there are people willing to sub for free, but what if all the subbers refused unless they were paid? I would assume that GMMTV (and others) really depend on their international fans for success. If they actually hired subbers, to have the subs done by a certain date, it would only help their business, no?
I loved it! (Hated Minhee, though... an annoying and selfish character. But that just means that the actress is very good, right? Lol.) Keep up the great work.

(Oh, and for the record, I'm a guy.)

Third doesn't need Khai, he needs a therapist.

Inside Third's head: "Screw your heart. At this point, I just wanna sleep with you." Lol.

Anyone want to take a guess as to how many episodes we're gonna have to sit through before Third decides to stand up for himself? I'm guessing six.
