I don't think it's nearly as bad as BL fans keep saying it is. I love the focus on TinCan. Both Mean and Plan…
I agree. They're taking a while to retell the story, but honestly, I'm still enjoying the show. The cute moments, the humor, etc. I really don't think it's as bad as people are making it out to be.
I am so, so, SO happy that New is given the role of an 'a$$hole'. In his most famous roles (in SOTUS, Water boyy, and KMA/DBK), he's basically been the same innocent, soft-spoken guy, but now he's so different and I'm loving it.
No consent is a problem. While it is fiction, it's not OK to just romaticise it. Love by Chance also had a scene…
Agreed. I'm a bit more partial to Tum/Tar than Kla/No, but in general, I think both couples could have been left out and we would have had a great series.
I've just started watching and on episode 2 now and it feels like I'm forcing myself to watch this. Not sure if…
Tbh the real reason I finally watched it is because ran out of other BLs to watch rn. lol I felt like I was forcing myself for part of it too, but it didn’t end up as badly as I thought it could have been.
After five years of knowing it existed and putting off, then dropping it because I thought the first episode was too weird (read: bad), I finally watched this show and I liked it. I wish I would have watched closer to the time that it originally came out (especially since I started watching BLs around that time anyway) so that I could get all those early Thai BL feels I got from Make It Right, but I was still definitely able to appreciate it. I gotta say it didn't really start to take off for me until episode 7. I feel like we should have either seen more Khom's story or just none of it all. All in all, it was nice finally getting around to see the "one that started them all".
I'm lowkey sad we've had to miss out on Lee Jyon Hyuk's beautiful eyes and overall handsomeness for this many episodes, but in general, I'm enjoying this season....even if it is a little messy.
this girl ACTUALLY out here being a detective over some thai bl drama, IM WEAKKKK-- are you done venting? spamming…
I didn't like my own comment. Also, can we talk about how you saw my username and comment marked as a spoiler but still decide to open it and read just to complain about it? So many other people made so many other (much longer) comments and reviews about the topic, but you're up my a$$ and you need to tell me how much you disagree with me. It's an open forum, girl, so go off, I guess, but you're very much a hypocrite. You love and need my comments, so you'll probably make your way around to responding again. I'm done, however. Go enjoy being a POS to some other stranger. <3
I avoided watching it before, but now I'm watching it and I like it. As Liz said, the acting is kinda meh because all the actors are new and the story does seem a bit all over the place, but I just skip over all the parts that don't deal with the main couple.
You should absolutely watch this series, both seasons. Read my comments in the Reviews section above...I think…
Initially, I just watch the first episode and left it at that. Then after reading your comment, I decided to give the second episode a chance and I think I'll actually enjoy this. Thanks!
agree, iam so confused by people saying that runyu is too good for her, like??? are we seeing the same drama??…
Runyu, in my opinion, was very much too good for Jinmi. Too intelligent, too wise, too experienced, too dedicated. JinMi was a pawn who was being led and manipulated all her life by literally every single character in the show both good and bad, so I don't think it's a (completely) valid excuse to say, "Runyu didn't really love her because he manipulated her."
I didn't care for Runyu's guard/assistant, but at least she saw Runyu's worth. I would have been happier to see them together than to fight XuFeng for the basically worthless JinMi.
I finally found a comment I can relate to. Everyone seems to love this and here I am stuck on ep 15 for a while…
I'd be stuck on episode 20 since a few weeks before I wrote that comment. A month later, I am STILL stuck on episode 20. lol
"But Shen Wei is supposed to look like that from the book. lol He’s cover is a timid looking book worm, kinda gave way to a comic relief when his identity is revealed"
I think they will bring up and clarify why exactly Pete left, but with so much of the first three episodes dedicated to Ae's depression, I wonder if waiting until the fourth episode (or possibly even later) was the best time to do that.
Seeing the Tin/Can relationship redone doesn't bother me so much because it's redone in a particularly bad way (so far anyway), it bothers me because of how easy it is to get confused with S1. I almost feel like before you watch either season 1 or 2, you should watch some clips on YouTube and see which couple appeals more to you Pete/Ae or Tin/Can. If you like Ae/Pete more, watch it in chronological order. If you like Tin/Can more, watch season 2 first, then go back and watch season 1 to get a more in depth background of Ae/Pete mixed with an alternative start for Tin/Can.

That makes it all the more worse. lol
