Great! I love to read the newer viewer reviews. Yes, I wanted a longer ending too. In fact, I was hoping for an epilogue ending from the book since we were given a prologue.
😂 But I agree with you! He was trying to Out-Lin BuYi his Lin BuYi except it’s too much for a modern drama. I don’t like this author much either because her books are plotless but LMLMY had Tan JianCi’s voice and ahhhhhhhh. 😂
Nothing caught my fancy yet. Watched Wu Lei's newest and dropped. Too much like Love Me Love My Voice. Maybe will pick up at end of year when I don't fancy LMLMV that much any more LOL.
@Alexasopretty Here's another parallel. Feng Yin wasn't supposed to survive because she was an anomaly. That's why Feng Ran kept her inside that protective fence to try to get her past her weak stage.
It was Gu Jin's chaotic origins that got mixed with Feng Yin's essence that enable her to stay alive and become Ah Yin, and set the stage for Feng Yin's return fully in power a thousand years later. Likewise, at the end of the drama, it was Feng Yin's phoenix origin in her fire phoenix jade mixed with Gu Jin's Chaotic essence that brought Yuan Qi back alive a thousand years later. Not shown in the drama is a bet he made that fate cannot be changed. However, both Feng Yin and Yuan Qi did change fate and he realized that he could do this, but like them, only through sacrifice. He would sacrifice his power for a chance to be free as an immortal through reincarnations/tribulation, as suggested at end of drama.
Not a problem. Many were frustrated with the blindness too.
