This drama was too short and I don't mean that in the I want more episodes way. I mean that as in it cut off a LOT of scenes that needed to be in the story to make it make sense like the confession scene (which was partial a flashback), the scene where she tells the ML who her brother is or when the other charecters find out who her brother is, some sort of information on the other video game players, the brothers romantic relationship development etc. None of these scene where in the story and they needed to he in the story because it seemed chopped off.
I shipped the FL's brother and the ML's best friend so much. I have never shipped a gay side couple in a Chinese drama before other than in Love 020, but I shipped them so much here. I know they won't ever show them as a couple, they can't, but they could have left an open ending or at least made the brother not have a random girlfriend last minute. I HATED that they introduced a random female character (with very little screen time and no charecter or relationship development) to play her brothers girlfriend. They could have skipped that 2 min scene in the last episode and the ending would have been so much better.
The actor for Jay is Korean? I thought he was Filipino, I don't think I've watched any of his works before. This was my first Filipino Movie/Drama and I loved it.
That "best friend" of the FL really got on my nerves. She was a SNAKE. Okay, fine she liked AJX, but to secretly date him behind her friends back for 2 YEARS, that was too much to begin with. Thought there would be something I'd like about her, some redeeming quality or something, turns out she was the one to confess to AJX first and she explicitly tells the FL that she did this because she knew that AJX liked the FL. The "best friend" knew the FL liked AJX and AJX liked the FL but got in their way because she liked AJX and didn't care for the FL at all.
It's the fact that she hid it for 2 years from the FL that really gets me. She knew the FL had her hopes up to confess to him but never bothered to tell the FL that he is taken?!!!! She then breaks up with AJX because he said he will tell the FL (his best friend) that he and the "best friend" are dating. I mean WTH, she knew it was wrong to begin with, she knew it would ruin their friendship, she didn't care for neither the FL or AJX at that point.
I hated her so much and I hated that couple so much that it ruined the drama for me. The FL was still her "friend", still went out of her way for that snake despite knowing everything she did. I hate dramas where characters like that are forgiven despite not doing anything to be forgiven, and just get away with all the pain and BS they put the main characters through. Her AUDACITY got on my last nerve.
Why did Kaede go blonde? He just sort of exploded, became blonde and... died? (I think he is dead). Manyuda Kaede was my favourite character, I was waiting for their gamble together since season 1. I was wondering why the actor wasn't listed to be in the sequel movie, I thought it was a mistake.
He looks like he is 20-22 (not on this profile pic but on his dramas), heck I thought he might be younger than me. But he's 27! He looks REALLY YOUNG and gives me the same vibes as Riley Wang.
I did jot like the ending. I did not want them to get back together, especially after the several episodes they spent ending things properly, cutting loose ends. I especially HATED the last minute get back together thing they did, I was really hoping she'd stay with the other guy.
I was so excited for Si An to find out she was his fan, not just a random fan either, his favourite fan. I was so excited to see his reaction, I waited the entire drama for it. I am so sad and disappointed he didn't find out.
Should have ended at episode 14. Hated the childhood friends storyline, seemed really unnecessary, especially considering the fact that it was only for 2 episodes .
Mmmm.no sight of romance. But chemisty, yes. Atleast they teased us with romance in S1. But here it is more into…
I would have kept my hopes up but I don't think there can be a third season either, before watching this season I read a lot of comment about people talking about how there can potentially be another season. But this season pretty much wrapped up the entire story. It was with a prequel and sequel to Leap Day. I have watched 4 Hong Kong dramas, and I have to say none of them had a satisfying romantic storyline.
Most of these are wrong. Because NONE of them was “second leads” literally. They were all main leads, but…
Dramas were the SML and FL end up together (you can search it up, it is CORRECT):
Reply 1988 is a well known drama where the second lead ends up with the girl.
The King's Love is another drama where that is the case.
Same with April Star
Diamond Lover has 2 ending, in the long (full) version the FL and SML end up together. In the short (cut) version the FL and ML end up together. Which is why I only listed the long version.
In Moon Lovers, technically the FL ends up with one of the SL's. She does not end up with the ML.
My Holo Love, compared to the ending of Are You Human Too (where the FL ends up with the ML, a robot), the FL in MHL ends up with the SML who is the human.

I did say on the description of MY LIST that these are dramas where either the outright second leads end up with the girl (which at least 3 of these dramas are) or dramas where I mistook the ML as the SML because their characteristics are that of a typical second lead. Please READ the DESCRIPTION before commenting. Not to mention I wrote an explanation of why these dramas are on this list below the drama (you can have a look at that as well).
Also, this is an outight romance drama list. And MOST Asian dramas, especially Cdramas have this "Cinderella" trope, a lot of the newer dramas are growing out of this trope, but it still very popular and always being made, even now.
If you want a list of dramas where romance develops from hate to love, or friendship etc, look for a lost that is EXPLICITLY for that trope, because this list is clearly not aimed at that.
Wow, he is a year older than me. Loved him on One Week Friends, hope to see him in more high school, maybe university dramas. I can't really imagine him as the main lead, but would love to see him play a similar role to his movie character.
I liked the friendship between the 3 friends. I didn't really like the addition of the FL until the twist. Hell I ship the SFL and ML more, thought I was mistaken about who the couples would be, thought that the SFL and ML would be together , an enemies to lovers plot, but NOPE.
This would have been a nice drama about the friendship of the trio. I also didn't care for the romance between the main leads especially before the twist. I loved the second lead couple, wish we saw the SML and SFL speak to each other more, they had really good chemistry and it was obvious they liked each other even before the confession, just needed more of their interactions, and a lot less of the main couple. I HATED the fake amnesia plot and that took up the majority of the movie.
Yeesa and YKC have so much chemistry, shipped them since season 1. Both philosopher (Timeline A) and author (Timeline B) YKC and Yeesa are PERFECT for each other. But why is her bf the one person she has NO chemistry with, I really thought my ship would sail this season. I mean it was a great plot, love the time loop and how it all wrapped up the end. This was both a prequal and a sequal to "Leap Day". I just did not like the romance.

I was hoping that Yeesa and YKC would be together in this drama as romantic interests. Shipped them so much in the first season but she somehow got with Ryan who she had no chemistry with.
