Oh, I can’t wait to see Jenny Jang take back her rightful place. That chaebol lady is unconscionable.

I find most of these type of drama show doesn’t show that justice win. For instance, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ms. Han’s subordinates, like the lawyer, the image consultant, the hacker and the security guards get off scot free in the end. Yet, we see them congratulating themselves all the time on ruining people’s lives and setting up people to cover the bad behavior or crimes of the chaebol family. I also wouldn’t be surprised that if indeed Ms. Han is sent to jail she would still somehow thrive even behind bars. I hope that I’m wrong but I don’t intend to get my hopes up.

This drama is indeed interesting but I feel the power is too much in favor of TOP. It’s the mistake that these type of Korean drama make over and over again.

The only drama in this vain that sort of played more balanced was Doctor Prisoner. Namgoong Min’s character in that show plotted for a long time like Mei Chang Su in Nirvana in Fire and even when his plans deviated he was quick to remedy the situation because he was an intelligent lead.

With this drama, I can’t see how the heroine can win against TOP when they have unlimited resources and the arrogant Ms Han who seem to suffer from a God complex. It’s like beating against the wind. However sometimes I think it would be a good ending to have all the people whose lives Ms. Han destroyed resurface to get their revenge. Oh wait, that would be too much like a Western show.

I watched one episode and saw this coming. I strongly dislike love triangles especially among friends. I guess it’s too much to hope that writers would realize that friends might have different tastes in women. That aside, I had to chuckle to myself that this actor finally gets a lead role and he still doesn’t get the girl. Unbelievable! I’ve seen him before as second lead and supporting character.

This drama was a HUGE disappointment. I can never understand why adults allow their parents to run their lives. I also don’t understand why a married couple would want to live with their parents. It’s ill-advised. I know these things are often portrayed in Kdrama but it would be nice if the writer or their society would begin to explore the wisdom of the married couple treating their union as their most important relationship instead of treating their parents as if they’re more important than their marriage. Why marry if the couple won’t value their relationship as the most important relationship especially if the couple intends to have kids.

Sure, they should love and respect parents to the best of their ability but that shouldn’t trump the importance of loving and respecting the spouse they married. To me the married couple comes first. As to the terrible in-laws in this story, they never got any comeuppance. Terribly disappointing show and more like a daily drama than a weekend drama.

This series started out interesting. I really loved the interactions between the leads. However, in steps this vile person between them, who officiously interferes in their relationship right to the end it seems. The incredulous thing is that this vile person should not have this power over them in the real world but in dramaland this vile person is like a God in their world who has the power to threaten them, control them and make their lives miserable. I’m so disappointed in what this show has become.

No, I know MQ is not related to Ms. Marple. I watched the two seasons so how could I fail to know that? The original comment I responded to said that Ms. Ma is better than MQ. I was merely pointing out that I was not impressed because Eun Ji figured out pretty much the culprit behind the crime from nine years ago to Ms. Ma and she absolutely refused to entertain a doubt about her husband whom she knows were committing huge business fraud. Somebody who is bold enough to do something like that can just as well commit crimes to cover that up.

So then, considering they were on bad terms since she threatened him many times with the loss of his position and turning him over to the police, why wouldn’t she even entertain the thought that her husband might be involved after all. She said she initially suspected him but then decided that he wouldn’t do this to her daughter. The point is, Miss Marple was never taken by surprise when it came to murderers because she knew human nature that well. She studied it by observing people and knew just what they might be capable of.

I will reiterate that Ms Ma is nothing like Miss Marple. Anybody who have read or watched enough crime shows know that the first suspects involving domestic crimes is a family member be it a spouse or other relative. It’s kind of ironic that even the cases in the show itself reflect this trait. All the murderers either killed a family member or someone who they were very familiar with. They weren’t randomly killing strangers. Who then has a motive to kidnap and kill her daughter without even getting the money? A random stranger? Puh-leaze.

I think all crime shows based on an author’s imagination is written for the main character to find the culprit just like MQ. However, I’m not here to argue about this. I’m simply pointing out that Ms. Ma’s unshakable trust in her husband whom she knows was crooked business man was unlike Ms. Marple who knows that human nature is capable of such a crime. Not everybody subscribes to the belief that mankind is inherently good. Agatha Christie and many classical literature writers did not believe this. It’s very clear in their writings.

Far better and Eun Ji is the one who solved the murder mystery from nine years ago? Please. At least Mystery Queen is observant and solves the murders on her own. I like Ms. Ma but her stubbornness about not being open to Eun Ji’s theory makes her nothing like Miss Marple who knows that everybody is suspect because of human nature. No, Ms. Ma is not better than Mystery Queen in solving murder mysteries. She also screams too much when crying and she’s crying almost every episode.

But technically the future MLC should be more dependent on past MLC because past MLC determines the future MLC. The future MLC also seem to know what actions the past MLC would take or his thoughts so it’s like he knows the past. Oh well, I guess I will have to wait to see what happens.

I suppose only time will tell what happens right? In today’s episode he agreed to give her space.

It does somewhat make me feel uncomfortable but then I thought how can he persuade her to give him a chance if he doesn’t pursue her. After all that effort, if she doesn’t give him a chance, then I guess at least he can say he tried his best.

Also, Do Ran has never outright rejected him. She just says things like they’re from different class or things like that.

Okay thanks for letting me know because my enjoyment of this season was definitely getting affected by my perceived unfairness to past MLC especially seeing that the future people came into his world basically disrupting his life and possible future.

I think I must be the only one uncomfortable with this storyline. I don’t like the idea that the past MLC might lose out on his love that is suppose to come at the right time. Also, isn’t future MLC afraid that he might change according to “past” MLC’s actions? Only unless he’s not the direct future version of the current past MLC. Ugh.

He’s the male lead who is the first son of a company called Bom and Food. His love interest is Uee.

Yes but the video is sticking for me so I had to give up and use the iPad. I will email the beta testers tomorrow to let them know about the issues.

@Poia, we’re already seeing that Chauffeur Kang keeps on discouraging Do Ran from falling for Dae Ryook. I don’t think Do Ran will date him easily even if she develops feelings for him. In the meantime, I guess we can enjoy Dae Ryook’s difficult journey in wooing her into a “yes”.

It’s not too early because they have a lot to overcome. Those two won’t have an easy time. Don’t forget annoying Da Ya is now part of the Wang family so when it gets out who Do Ran’s father is things are going to hit the fan.

I do wonder though if the English subs would be available because I heard sometimes they get the subs from places like DramaFever.
