I cannot believe that I AM SAYING this but I really don't hope for any kind of romance here. especially not between…
If there's any romance, it won't be with that forensic guy. It would be either the young prosecutor or the police officer.

I'm not dropping it yet - I've enjoyed the crime solving and most of the cast. I hope that her character gets toned down as the one in Judge vs Judge did, so I'll keep watching.

Title Partners for Justice Spoiler
So far all I've seen is bad writing of the police and lead actress. I hope it gets better as the episodes progress!…
I agree - about the lead female character. When she got mad at the forensic pathologist after KNOWING the victim committed suicide, WTF?? I mean, the husband is an abusive disgusting piece of trash, but he didn't kill his wife - at least directly. He abused and tortured her until all she wanted was to die, and chose to do so in a way that would hurt him, which I fully sympathize with - but a prosecutor, knowing that's the truth, should then just prosecute the husband for what he actually DID and not whine - what did she want that doctor to do? Lie? Great.
However, the other characters in this drama, and the situations, are pretty interesting, and I understand why the writers wrote this female like this (they just didn't do a very good job) so I have hopes that it will get better.

Title Miracle That We Met Spoiler
We know that he has fallen for the man's wife and that can't be helped it's not his body and all the memories…
The real banker didn't love his wife anymore. He'd been cheating on her a lot and had treated her very nastily, while being autocratic and cold to his children. If being in the guy's body and getting the guy's memories back will change the cook into the banker, then he'd start being cold to his wife again. Sheesh.
Nope, he might get these memories back, and he's feeling very sympathetic and sorry to the banker's wife, but the cook's own personality as shown so far by these writers would NEVER allow him to abandon his own family and it certainly wouldn't erase his own happy marriage. He LOVES his own wife. End of story.
If these writers try to make it ok for him to desert his wife for a beautiful woman and a rich life, nothing they throw at this to cloak that will change the disgust I feel about it.

Title Miracle That We Met Spoiler
Yes, she's driving Hyun Cheol away. In a way, I sympathize and understand her because she's insecure and scared…
REALLY??? What's so different between the two? So lots of sympathy for the rich, beautiful wife who'd had a husband deceive her but who had thought he'd come back to her because of the head injury - ok but now she knows that's NOT TRUE - still runs after him, tears up divorce papers, tells his real wife to make the sacrifice (despicable) and then makes what, makes herself ill?
While the REAL wife is understandable distraught - but gets no sympathy. She sees her real husband possibly losing his identity, is terrified, hears her FATHER in law tell her husband to just go live with the beautiful lady & be rich and happy (OMG how heart-rending that must have been to listen to) and said byotch calmly tell her that somebody needs to make a sacrifice (of course NOT miss entitled, never) - nope, real wife sobbing in the rain gets no sympathy...
DISGUSTING. Really.
The daughter and son are the ones with the real perspective on this.
I swear, tho, the writers had better have our cook back with his OWN family. That guy is NOT the banker, has no RIGHT to desert his family (real family thanks so much). He can help all the kids quite well without deserting his wife.

If it wasn't for Ra Mi Ran, I would start feeling veeery uncomfortable with the selfish turn of Yeon Hwa's character...…
How ridiculous all of you are.
I was ready to jump down that entitled widow's throat when she purred at the cook's wife to just 'sacrifice' herself. OMG that byotch.
I'm sorry, but I completely fail to understand why she's getting all this sympathy while the poor woman who's husband has been torn unfairly away from her gets all this hypocritical judgement.
Let's see YOU children walk a mile in HER shoes.
The rich female is not wanting her OWN husband back at all. She at first did think that the man she fell in love with had returned due to a head injury, and I felt very sorry for her cause of course that's not what happened.
But now she KNOWS that her lying, cheating, miserably cold husband DIED. He's DEAD. This is someone ELSE's husband masquerading as her husband. That husband who she was DIVORCING.
This female totally reminds me of ALL the privileged, entitled little girls I've run into, the ones who just ooze all this politeness and grace, but underneath are basically selfish, self-centered little creatures who can't deal with not getting their own way.
She hasn't been like that for most of this show, but in that restaurant scene she most CERTAINLY was behaving like that.
A DECENT human being would have assured the cook's wife that she'd get her hubby back if that's what he wanted, talked to her about the current difficulties needing to be got thru first (she was correct about that) and told the REAL wife that she realized her own husband had died, hard though the situation was to understand.

What makes up the person? The MIND and SOUL? Or the body? I mean this is pretty easy to answer. It doesn't MATTER what body our baker inhabits, he remains the COOK.
If the writers do turn on the wife (they've really not yet, just are showing her being very insecure as one WOULD be) then they lose MY support immediately.
I like and sympathize with both wives, but morally the one the cook needs to end up with is his OWN wife, not the banker's wife.
Think about it. Our cook is a caring, loving husband and father, a decent human being. If he crassly decided to leave his real family and take up with the gorgeous wife and rich lifestyle what does that make HIM??? Acting totally out of character for one.
Let the widow console herself with that CEO.
Now it IS important that our cook find out what happened & who caused the accident. His wife is misunderstanding his motives, and that's the classic mid-drama crisis going on. She does need to take a chill pill and trust her hubby. But it doesn't make her a bad person, anymore than our widow wanting to force the cook to stay makes HER a bad person. It's just people being people and doing things that aren't perfect.

YOU chill, my dear.
This might be a drama, but the shallowness of people shipping the pretty wife rather than the normal one disgusts me. So sorry that equates to me getting over-emotional. I find your twisty logic incomprehensible. Why should the poor wife 'give up'? HER husband is alive. You basically are arguing that the RICH woman who was ready to divorce her real husband should be able to keep another woman's husband. How lovely a thought.

This drama is JUST what I needed after Waikiki ended - it's not as wacky as that one, at least not in the same way - but it is pretty over the top and I love it! Nothing's off at all LOL

Sorry, she's so TOTALLY in the right here. Sorry. Of course, I'd be focusing on discussing this with my HUSBAND…
That man is Yeon Hwa's husband. Period. Yes, she needs to chill out & trust her man - I agree there. But she's understandably insecure - she sees that beautiful widow, who's been mistreated & is suddenly given the gift of a caring husband, and then hears her FATHER-IN-LAW urging his son to just take advantage of his new situation (money, power, gorgeous wife) and totally falls into a pool of dispairing jealousy. That's NOT being 'selfish'. It's normal.
As for the widow, up until she finds out the truth, the situation is NOT her fault in the least. In fact it's too bad our cook didn't just immediately agree to divorce her, and leave that apartment, before raising that poor woman's hopes up. But once she found out, sorry - that's NOT her husband! Again, I understand her wanting him to be, and finding it very difficult to deal with this weirdness, but she's got so much more than the other poor woman.
As for our CEO - good grief. He didn't know she was married. He's interested in her and is totally unsure what's going on (as is SHE). Her life has been totally thrown off-track by the mess-up - if the cook hadn't come back in her husband's body she'd be a rich widow and very free to date our CEO at some point.
Let's talk about the kids - those rich kids will not suffer nearly as much as the cook's daughter - cause guess which child was close to her daddy? Oh, yeah, the cook's actual daughter. Now the son knows about it - he's not notably grieving for his real dad, can we notice? Sad but true.
If the cook doesn't come home his daughter will be devastated. If he forgets her now that she knows who he is she will be devastated. Under no circumstances is that cook staying with the rich widow going to be as good for those kids (ALL of them) as him going back home.
My only problem with the real wife is her impatience and seeming lack of faith in her husband. That's not very problematic.

You are correct - the memories of the man who died seem to be taking the cook over, but he's keeping his much superior personality.
However, if that woman would just file the divorce papers, she'd be fine. She lost her husband years before. I'm sad for her, and if our cook didn't have a wife that he LOVES, I'd be all for him getting together with her.
HOWEVER - getting a divorce from her and going back to his real wife does not mean he has to cut himself off from those two kids. What does it say to his own daughter if he chooses the other family, tho??? That's horrible.
I agree - the two shinigami need to put everything back.

Same here. No one responds to him in English. Nobody seems to care. So, why speak in English? Wei?
I remember in Fugitive: Plan B, Daniel Henney spoke exclusively in English the entire drama, even when people spoke Korean to him LOL This was due to his not speaking Korean very well at all LOL Wonder if this is a similar case - although obviously this actor speaks more Korean that Daniel did :d

Sorry, she's so TOTALLY in the right here. Sorry. Of course, I'd be focusing on discussing this with my HUSBAND - not that other woman. Now, once Hye Jin DOES figure out (in fact actually hears it FROM Hyun Chul himself) that makes Hye Jin the selfish one. Look, she was DIVORCING her actual husband. Because he was a cheating, cold-hearted bastard. She's got NO right to steal this poor woman's husband this way just because she's wanting to pretend the husband she married (who obviously did a 180 degree turn to the bad) has come back to her with all the nasty things he did erased. She's now been told that is NOT the case. She needs to just stop trying to steal Yeon Hwa's husband. Period.
Go for that hot CEO instead, I say. Lots more ethical.
BTW he did NOT know she was married when he started flirting with her.
