Lord, this just keeps getting better & better :D I love this kind of thing immensely even when cheesy & poor quality (which this is NOT) - and Lee Seung Gi is PERFECT as the Monkey King :D Cha Seung Won is totally owning his role, and Hong Ki as our Pig Demon LOL love him so much :D

Chun Ho Jin is, shall we say, age appropriate for me (& OMG hot - just saying to you young things) - I expect his parents are quite elderly. Sad to see less of him in the drama, but his dad comes first, of course.

Just a heads-up - almost ALL these 50+ episode weekend dramas are FAMILY oriented LOL For lots of us that IS the draw...

Oh, I agree that hubby is not one of the suspects (for us, the audience).

Just notice that the negative comments don't really give any objective reasons for not liking the drama - just personal ones. Some don't like the lead girl, for instance.
Check to see if anything that is said really makes YOU think it would be mad. Lots of us like it, BTW

We've got at least 3 major suspects - that does make it suspenseful.

So this really has only 2 more episodes? I'm not at all sure how it can all be wrapped up in just 2 hours, but the writers have done a superb job so far!

I don't know if missing quite explains my reaction - I thoroughly enjoyed the bromance, & liked the major & minor (lol) romances. Everything got wrapped up well. Maybe shallow? Not horribly so, but a bit.
Still I enjoyed this a great deal. I thought Jo Jung Suk did an amazing job here!

There is no way that prosecutor would be allowed to handle his own father's case - ESPECIALLY such a high profile one. Just saying....

You are inaccurate because of your misuse of the word 'knockoff'. This film, whether good or bad, was inspired no doubt by various wushu films. Absolutely. However, it is not 'cheap'. Certainly not a copy of any of them in particular, however much it borrows from some of the storylines.
I really could care how many other of your young friends agree w/you, either. That is neither here nor there.

I'm sorry I hit a nerve with you. So sorry you didn't like this film. But really, try checking on the meaning of words before flinging them around.

I gave some of them. I'm not finished with it, nor do I think it perfect. But why would I spend time giving you a complete critical exposition when you don't bother to even give the kind of substantiated short comments I've already given? Good grief.

Honey, it is not having a personal opinion different than mine that makes a conversation unintelligent. It is being unable or unwilling to support said opinion with anything resembling logic and insight that makes such a discourse worthless. I've got advanced degrees in literature - are you really so naive as to think everyone I've ever discussed a book with in college agreed with me? And yet, one could indeed have an interesting and spirited debate on the various aspects of the work.
I'd love to have one here, but when I get 15 variations of 'it's boring - the girl can't act - I hate the lead cause the character is stupid/immoral/whatever ' well I'm sorry. That is mind-numbing.
I made it clear that I gave this drama a 10 simply to balance out the idiots who decide to give decent dramas low scores cause they hate the lead actress, or don't like the genre.

!!! sigh.

I have yet to read a well-founded criticism of this drama. Jo Jung Suk is rocking this - he's doing a fabulous job of portraying two completely different characters, one of whom is often right beside him for comparison! That takes talent. Those who are dissing on him are just way off base. Those of you who hate Hyeri, LOL. Whatever. She's been doing better & better with each role she takes, & in this one she's doing exactly what's required for the drama. As for Kim Sun Ho, :D He's so good as our conman.
I wish there were an actual discussion here of the PLOT progression - makes me wonder how many of you who supposedly are holding your noses are actually watching it LOL Such an interesting conundrum the last episode left us with. The commentary here is uninteresting, uninformed & blatantly prejudiced even for MDL, sadly, so completely unable to have an intelligent conversation about the actual drama :(

Well it sure sounds to ME like you aren't fond of them - you give your reasons which is fine, although most of them are fairly planned out (even when the plan is just screwed - Glorious Temptation for instance, or Monster).
