This has no direction. It is a guilty pleasure, no point to the story at all lol
I enjoy recaps as well - at least the kind where the blogger talks about their opinions, inserts little snippets of info, etc. BUT I make up my own mind about shows - I can figure out plot structure etc all on my own LOL I have years of university education deconstructing literature under my belt :D

I really don't need another person's recap when I've watched the drama myself. I don't see him going in circles at all - although he does LOL He's learning & growing with each trip, and we are getting clues about all those people around him. I agree the pacing is awkward, and there's frustration going on, but overall I totally enjoy this show (but he should have run to help his buddy! Dramas do this so often - the characters stand & stare instead of reacting!!!

Oh, I disagree - there's a mystery (who in the !@#%!# is the pharmacist LOL) & character explorations (we learn more & more about the characters & their various interactions/relationships/feelings every episode). Plus Our Hero (Bong Pil aka JJ) is gradually getting a clue about what a mess he's made LOL I'm enjoying the absurdity myself :D
Questions though: 1. How come Dol Mok didn't recognise Min Jae at Hwa Young's house (Ep. 7)? He is now…
Really, it's dramaland - nobody recognizes anyone else because they change ACTORS from teens to 30s LOL LOL LOL Except in this one they have our main leads all be late teens together - quite a change from most since I'm certainly more used to completely different actors playing 18 year olds and then 30 year olds. My Love Eun Dong - they had the main character's 20 something self a different actor than his 30 something one LOL Cause THAT'S real!
I'd rather watch this drama than some overrated kpop idols...just waste of time
He's doing fine here - and my comment was a snark one cause your comment seemed to imply that there weren't any KPop idols in the show, or else that the one in it IS a good actor.
If the writers actually continue with the story that Bong Pil is destined to end up with his best friend Jin Sook…
Neither of them are bad people. They made bad decisions. I agree that Seok Tae's actions are worse than Jin Sook's, but still both did something very wrong. Seok Tae came forward and confessed (to the wrong person of course) so he may be doing more introspection. As for Jin Sook, yep, she does care about both Pil & Soo Jin. But she really is delusional about Pil, I do believe.
As for the pharmacist, interesting theory! I have been wondering why he's so set on Soo Jin, since he definitely has another GF & far as I know Soo Jin does not come from a particularly rich family. Maybe he HAS seen something in the future!
This drama had potential to be rather lovable, but when the writer started destroying the characters' integrity…
Why is their behavior 'deeply flawed'? The two worst are the letter-stealers. The rest are just normal human beings (ok, not counting that very iffy pharmacist). You are lost in the drama land of exaggeration and unrealistic expectations, of thinking people are either good or bad when in fact that's just not true. We are all various shades of gray.
Changes are certainly happening for Bong Pil - he is starting to get a clue. We the viewers are also getting a clue about the underlying personalities of these kids - not the surface, shallow character 'types' presented in the first episodes but the individual quirks and motivations of each. No one's behavior is being 'enabled' here - just shown. Pil keeps trying to deal with all the revelations he's seeing, wanting everyone to be happy while maybe getting the girl he loves and who loves HIM BTW. He's still got a ways to go but he's making progress. Plus, this remains a very funny little drama :D I say kudos to the writers for NOT going the conventional route.
I will be sad when it's over.
