So is the creepy religion, a Christian...something else...? Like what is it. I know it's a cult, but who…
Oh, they've thrown in Scientology, Reverend Moon, & the Davidians that I've seen so far LOL This show is being uber sensitive & not talking about which deity they worship - but there's a cross on the church.
You tell him, Danah. His money is worth nothing!!! I'm loving this show.
Yep - should have said - you SOUND like such judgmental people - exactly. I tend to forget to put in the qualifiers when I get excited.
But you interpret it as you please.
You tell him, Danah. His money is worth nothing!!! I'm loving this show.
I do tend to say 'that's /insert adjective/' without adding the qualifier - that COMMENT. So I can see why you'd think I was attacking YOU. But I'm just going after what you said. Don't know you.
As for your qualifications, great! Never went after them at all. You went after mine or sneered at my use of them.
My opinion of your interpretation of my comments is around the same as my opinion of your interpretation of this drama. I'll leave it at that.

Despite what some people feel, I really don't know anyone here - when I comment (rant about, find certain opinions unfathomable, etc) I'm only talking about what I see on this board & what I read in a comment. So hardly very personal. I find it interesting that so many persons all over the Internet have a really hard time distinguishing between fact/opinion and between condescension/intelligence or knowledge of a subject. Also, I may get very mad at a show (this one - I'm so totally ranting about the writers...) and find it very hard to understand how viewers don't see the inconsistencies, and I've really never been a fan of seeing the world in black & white. So I may rail from time to time about those things. NOT the same as attacking a person.
But whatever.
I personally am glad that some people are liking this drama (I may take it up again in a bit myself) because I love the actors & want them to have a successful drama.
This is only the 5th episode but I feel compelled to write this given all the negativity.
First, this really is a fantasy, which some can't seem to understand. A funny one at that. As well as an interesting look at the dynamics of this group friendship, as well as the way our two leads keep missing each other. Every episode adds to the discerning viewers' understanding of what's happened to keep these two apart, as well as a unique way of examining both Pil's & Soo Jin's personalities. It seems more episodic than most KDramas, but since we know it's only 16 episodes there should be a resolution, so that's just fine! I'm spending a lot of enjoyable moments watching this drama - it is funny, charming, with some poignant moments and a great group of friends :D Give it a CHANCE, people!
BTW I'm giving it a HIGH rewatch value, not just because of JJ but because I've already had to go back & rewatch some scenes due to stuff I missed the first time around - scenes that didn't seem significant at first but which on viewing the next episode turn out to be important.

Only wrote this because of the other one. As I said.
It sad that it has a low rating but I totally understand. For the recent eps the plot is good but in succeeding…
Nope, don't agree at all - certainly not after seeing the 5th episode. This is a lot more like Groundhog Day or that little drama L just starred in. Our hero is getting a clue, and understanding more & more of what's been happening in his life & in the lives of his group of friends, plus his girl. I've loved every episode more than the last one, and find this to be a very insightful and interesting way to approach this topic!
Plus it is simply very funny so far!
I HAVE seen quite a few of the original Criminal Minds - I like this take on it very much, especially since this version doesn't have to attempt to get renewed over & over so can actually have completion! Having Lee Jun Ki never hurts, either....
I really love Oh Jin Gyu. His character is just so perfect. It's my first time seeing Kim Sun Ho and he's…
Yep - much more interested in seeing Jin Gyu's character get a clue & get some meaning in his life, than watching immature types make snap judgements.... Our lead girl has a tendency to do that (see how she attacks that silly ninja wannabe LOL when he was actually trying to help her!) & our lead guy Kang Soo really sees the world in black & white right now. I'm hoping that the writers are using this to show that all our leads need some maturation...
Everyone is hating this drama apparently and honestly most did not even give it a chance, there was nothing but…
The pretty in this drama is overwhelming - it is funny, adorable, lots of eye-candy :D Possibly short on extended logic, but the characters seem consistent & the short-term logic (ie within an episode or series of related scenes) holds together enough to make sense. So I just don't do any deep thinking when I'm watching, LOL

That's your problem, dear. You keep reading them. At least I write logically, with no intent to personally upset you. I'm just ranting about something I find annoying. Well, I guess you find me annoying as well, so rant away if it makes you feel better.
But you interpret it as you please.
