Questions though: 1. How come Dol Mok didn't recognise Min Jae at Hwa Young's house (Ep. 7)? He is now…
LOL looking for logic like this LOL Apparently in makjang weekend dramaland, one looks soooo different from elementary to HS then HS to college THEN college to 30+ that it takes another actor to play you LOL
Now, mind, So Joo only remembers Dol Mok as Dol Mok because she knew him in HS & then is reintroduced to him AS Dol Mok.
I get that not all are gonna like this drama but why is it always same people who keeps on bashing it like okay…
I do believe she's baffled by the continuing tantrum from people who said they dropped it after the first few episodes. I certainly have been upset by a drama & gone to rant about it - but then I'm done - if I drop it I walk away.
Futuristic scenario ended the movie ... The use of a futuristic setting did a lot of harm to the gritty and prevailing…
What futuristic scenario? Is Netflix pulling their stupid stunts again over movie credits?
I enjoyed this film for what it was - ie action with Daniel Wu & Zhang Rui Yun....which works for me LOL
I liked the first two episodes of it but it's just going further and further down a black hole. I had higher…
I have to say that I haven't been bored by this drama yet - maybe because it does manage to have very humerous moments in each episode, maybe because I really love the characters - I'm very interested in our Chaebol godling - and probably at least 50% because of the eye candy LOL
I enjoy this drama because I put my brain on hold & watch the pretty LOL The individual scenes & scenarios make a kind of sense - it is the overall plot that meanders everywhere! At least the characters are pretty consistent so it's watchable for me, although I've been wondering if I just turned the subs off I might enjoy it just as much (I DO understand about a third of the dialogue raw...)
But the writers have been showing, quite well, that he's NOT a really bad person at all - perfectly salvageable. Which is why I will drop this if they do demonize him. I hate inconsistently written characters more than anything.
I love how my attitude is nasty, but Jin Gyu is a golden boy who illegally blocked a public road for shits and…
Sorry, I use caps to emphasize and I'm not going to stop just because YOU don't like it LOL I find YOU rude and I also simply do not agree with you. What you say about this character does not coincide with what the writers have tried to portray. People like you who think they are above taking this so-called 'blood money' have obviously never encountered real situations like this. Sorry, it is a common drama meme (not just KDramas) which is radically different from reality. Most victims in cases like this are TRYING to get monetary compensation and OFTEN accept full reparation in lieu of criminal prosecution, especially when the victim is still alive and needs extremely expensive medical care.
You act as if what he did were murderous when it was not. The crime actually is a civil one - bribing civil employees, using public property. The reason he couldn't do this legally (like street festivals do) is because the RACING is frowned upon. If it had been a street festival, the same thing would have happened to this poor young man (the injured one) - would that make the promoters of the street festival evil?
You certainly prove my point - that you are hating on this character for things that you perceive in the real world rather than what the writers are trying to portray.
Original CM fans be like: I will watch this just to make sure that it is inferior to the original.
Good lord, you think a lot of yourself, don't you? I think possibly YOU need to read that as well. Preaching to people about being polite when you yourself are acting above it all is rather hypocritical. I suggest you just stop. Or quit being surprised when others do to you as you do to them LOL
I like being snarky to those that deserve it. Deal or go away.
Forest of Secrets has ruined me - I can't enjoy crime dramas anymore because I realise how mediocre they…
Wow - I sound arrogant? Your entire comment comes off arrogant. Yes, I was being sarcastic - because tons of posters find it impossible to like one drama without dissing another which is ridiculous. I made no mistake whatsoever.
Of course one doesn't necessarily like all the dramas in a genre just because one likes the genre.
I love how my attitude is nasty, but Jin Gyu is a golden boy who illegally blocked a public road for shits and…
I just love how some people totally ignore what's actually happening in this drama because they hate that rich, privileged, entitled kids do often get away with things. In THIS drama, however, this guy is abused emotionally & physically, a pawn to his parents - the only thing he is successful at is this racing. How proud he is of it, too - and he treats his team very well. He's NOT a jerk - just clueless. Note that he attempted suicide after his father attacked him over the one thing in his life he's successful at!
Yes, closing the road is illegal - but he certainly meant no harm in it. In fact, finding out that he'd CAUSED harm shocked him! He offered immediately to make reparations - that is EXTREMELY important in this situation because medical costs for that type of thing are PROHIBITIVE. Yet this non-family member arbitrarily refused. Not cool at all.
Sorry, but your model of rich entitled kid does NOT apply here. He's not worried about legal repercussions - he's worried about his FATHER.
God he's so attractive but seriously Nam Joo Hyuk couldn't act his way out of a prison riot.
Fail to understand why you think that way - but so often I feel that way when posters say that type of thing. I've seen very few dramas where an actor performed so poorly that it hurt the drama! Most of the directors know how to use the young, inexperienced idols pretty effectively. As for Nam Joo Hyuk, I've enjoyed him in everything I've seen him do, and he's played those characters convincingly. That doesn't mean he's somehow a fabulous actor, of course, but it does put into question comments about how awful his performances are when in fact they work for the drama in question.
Now, mind, So Joo only remembers Dol Mok as Dol Mok because she knew him in HS & then is reintroduced to him AS Dol Mok.
