Not a fan of this genre, but I manage to watch 25% already. Its enjoyable since they don't take themselves too seriously.
But I don't know, why is the CGI is so cgi-sh? Everything looks like glass and plastic, especially the heavenly realm. I also notice this is true in cdramas of this genre. Is it China audience preferences or just not enough budget allocated. On the other hand, the filming sets on mortal realm are quite impressive.

I'm waiting for entire series 2 to drop before binging. I've waiting 3 years so I can wait a bit more. However, the drama list rating seems to be dropping. Is series 2 in general, not as good as the original (no spoilers please)?

I think ending every episodes with cliff hanger in kdrama used to be refreshing but now has become stale. I don't see cdramas or jdramas doing it.

Time travel too. KSH times jumps back 10 seconds and avoids being hit by the self driving Tesla. Sowe combine van of doom and time slip trope consecutively.😆
