I think if the episode ends with just the two of them staring across the road, waiting to reconcile, it will already be a cliffhanger. Just like the scene in cloy, when the Captain appeared in Seoul.
I watched ep15 more like a standalone episode since I dropped this some time ago. It was quite good and funny on some parts and I welled up as baek in was reading her diary . A lot of stuff I don't get, like how the queens family recovered their wealth but it's ok.
Lol and her husband's reaction is the same as mine to all the fuss about this series.
Still "following" the story series via spoilers at this forum. Might watch last two episodes if it's interesting enough. More like reading the novel instead of watching.
