At first it does not sound plausible. Ultrasound is low frequency i.e long wavelength. I assume the ultrasound beam needs to be focused on the cancer spot. It does not have the spatial resolution for this type of delicate operation. I mean take a look at pregnancy Bscan and how low detail the image is.

I wonder if not liking it is somehow age related.? My wife, who like me is approaching middle age doesn't quite like it too, although she's still watching it when she can. And she's the type who laps ups romcoms like anything.

Yeah, I think if you somehow don't get invested emotionally with the story of the main leads, then this show is indeed average especially with the excruciating length of each episode.

It's nowhere as good as the ratings suggest, but this is of course a personal opinion. Since the actual TV ratings are stellar, it's obvious many people don't agree with us. But you shouldn't be getting brick bat for that.

Past connection and flashbacks can be a powerful story telling tool when it's not used superfluous. For example it's used superbly in Fieren and integral to the tale.
