I watched ep15 more like a standalone episode since I dropped this some time ago. It was quite good and funny on some parts and I welled up as baek in was reading her diary . A lot of stuff I don't get, like how the queens family recovered their wealth but it's ok.

Unfortunately, typical of poor pacing of kdramas. Lots of fillers than sudden rushed ending. Even in Red Sleeve, they did not show the family life of FL , King JunHo and their son, the CP. They left a lot of film on the cutting floor.

Maybe cloy was special to me because it was my gateway into the drama world. Could be I have happy memories of it because I was encountering all the usual tropes the first time. Now I'm jaded. Perhaps Netflix had a hand in my frustration . The pre season teasers were leading me to think that this is romcom with a bit of melodrama somewhat in the vein of cloy. What I got was was penthouse with perhaps better lead actors.
