According to the latest news, this production will be bigger than I imagined. 6 months of shooting period, big sets will be built to resemble ancient Han-river area and a pretty long post-production period. Seoham’s role is also confirmed.

After losing his mother at an early age, Jeongcheon (Park Seoham) met and grew up with Seoyul (Rowoon) like siblings. As a military officer with integrity and innocence, he believes and follows the fight against the harmfulness of the corrupt world. Jeongcheon(Park Seoham) tries to eliminate not only Seoyul(Rowoon), who joined the gang of gangsters, but also all gangster gangs. However, it seems impossible with the power of a 6th rank Jeongdocheong official. The temptation becomes more and more conflicting for him.
I think he is definitely made for acting. He didn’t have much experience yet he was really good in SE, very natural and charming acting. He has charisma, talent and he looks so damn good! But also his face has a character not just a pretty doll. So it is no surprise that his name is already mentioned in a big project for Disney+ right after his military service is over. He will definitely go places and good luck for him. I will definitely pay attention to the works he will be in.
Not sure why people assume that this will be a BL drama when article says nothing about it. This sounds a proper historical drama to me. Park Seoham will not act in BL dramas for the rest of his career, you know? He is really talented and I think he will try many things when opportunity comes and this sounds like a big production if it happens. He will land a Disney+ project right after military service which is great. I am looking forward his acting come back whatever that will be. Good luck!
I have just seen that LSG won the AAA TV Actor of the Year Award and he truly deserved it. And as I am here, why not praise him a bit more!? His Ba Reum portrayal was one of the best acting performances that I have watched this year or more. And not just in Korea but in general. His acting was effortless and intuitive without overacting even though his role was very suitable for that. His character study was meticulously crafted. Congrats again and looking forward his next project.
Thanks to Mouse, I hope he will have a wide range of different offers and scripts and this drama experience will help him greatly. Everybody has already started to anticipate his next work as an actor, including me too. He deserved a good rest first then see his options and decide what to do, but I hope that the next acting project will be much sooner than 2 years or so. Hopefully a movie maybe... Actually, I would really like to see him in a musical movie. Not a cheesy and cliche one but with a good script and production. I just cannot think of anyone better than him in a musical film. But whatever he will do, I am sure he will try to challenge himself for better and I will be looking forward to it!
I don't think I will be able to write a coherent comment until the weekend... Need to watch today's special ep then 20th ep again. But all I can say for now that watching Mouse weekly was an experience and it was worth it. For all the intense, roller-coaster feelings that I went through as I was watching... For now, I just wanted to mention Lee Hee Joon... Moo Chi was a very hot-headed and loud character with a very tragic story and traumas so it must be very exhausting to play him and give a certain depth and not to turn him into a caricature. Lee Hee Joon did it masterfully. He brought a vulnerability to the character and this makes his character development in the 20th ep more meaningful for me.
They released some pictures from ep 20, MC holds the gun to BR's head and BR seems to surrender and he is in the predator clothes. Now that they release these pictures, I don't think that MC will do it, no way to reveal the end of the drama....or maybe they would? I don't know what to think anymore :) https://twitter.com/CJnDrama/status/1394578512401600517?s=20
-I feel like BR will go "fck this shit" mode and starts to kill again with the president's secretary, then maybe some others in OZ and ends with Seo Jun, at least clean those who created and enabled him as this monster before he is gone... Not as a redemption at all but to take other monsters with him as he is going, is the least he can do like Daniel has said... Drama refers to The Wizard of Oz but in some aspects, it really reminds me of Frankenstein.
-Hong Joo said that she will not let her son grow up like YH, getting abuse because of a serial killer father so I assume she will reveal who the real killer was in her program and prove YH's innocence. She mentioned a horrible death for SJ and I think it will come from BR a.k.a his son, his most proud creation, she will make BR kill SJ but no idea how she will manage this...
-Ji Eun, I hope you will burn in your personal hell until the end of your fictional life, not coming near to your grandson. She doesn't deserve happiness of any sort, I don't care about her "good" intentions.
-For MC and Bong Yi, it would be a happy ending for them if they end the drama mentally sane, not ending up in a mental institution. BR will get what he has deserved, but unfortunately, it will not really help all of their traumas, maybe lighten their burdens and heals the wounds a tiny bit... And in my mind, they will live until their 90's and not deal with any serial killer, ever! They have enough for 3 lifetimes already!
Yesterday Lee Seung-gi won the Baeksang Award for Best Male Entertainer. This is great recognition since he has…
Yes, I saw the news about his win! I hope his acting efforts will not be disregarded since he is also an entertainer and singer. Mouse has created lots of buzz in SK too, as far as I can see and if nothing, it might open the door to new and different acting projects. I haven't watched the other drama nominees so I am heavily biased for Mouse haha! I am planning to start with Beyond Evil but let's see...
The OST of Mouse is released at last and the main theme from Song Jae Kyeong called Blood Taste. The official song of my nightmares now :D That theme song really fits well and elevates the scenes.
It's a summary episode from 1-17. It aired on Monday (for some reason?)
Honestly, I am not that harsh to the storytelling and the production. I really enjoyed and found it fresh and different in a lot of aspects. All the forwards and backs in the narrative and all those cuts are criticized but they tried something different and I appreciate it and enjoy as tying to putting everything together. LSG is the pillar of this drama and main driving force but it would be unfair to erase everything else in my opinion. It demands close attention with all the clues and cuts in the story and a normal tv viewer wouldn't do that.
The timing is not on his side, the nominees' announcement is when Mouse still early episode, at that time Ko Moo…
Yeah, timing sucks for this award but it shouldn't be the only one? I don't know, at least critics should gather together, have a drink and give the man a slap on the back to congratulate or something! ;D
SK entertainment sector will reaaly let me down if they don't give even ONE (1) award to LSG for his work in Mouse. Sure, give all the other good actors their due but do the same to LSG too... I mean come on! He is changing the male lead image here!
God damn! Who thought that Daniel's piece of paper would come into play like this! BR in full black is always bad news, the master predator madam... like...BAD news... And you deserved it, cheers! At last, we got to learn who really killed YoHan... Seo Jun, you monster! And "the worst mother ever" awards goes to Ji Eun! You selfishly wanted the baby with less possibility to turn into a psychopath, don't you? How did your perfect (!) plan go? Imagine someone that couldn't do ONE (1) right thing throughout her life... This is your punishment but at what cost! Hong Joo is definitely planning something...Man, she is scary when she means to be... I bet she will make BR kill Seo Jun but HOW??! Damn...
Which male lead do you mean? If you mean BR, yeah... there is not much hope for him. If someone doesn't kill him,…
He was also a serial killer. Also I don't think that being alive would be a good thing for him at this point. The worst punishment would be remembering all those murders with horrible remorse for years. LSG is flexing his limits as an actor as well as pushing the viewers to watch him as a true villian with no return. Maybe you can watch his old works to cheer up! ;)
