Not sure why he keeps getting second lead roles. I hope he can choose smt different next time before it sticks to him, preferably not a part of a love triangle.
I am mainly worried about Netflix, lately many of their productions look so generic, bland and mediocre, in my opinion. It sucks the creative life out of the productions, I hope this will be different though.
My god, the female lead character is ANNOYING. I really want to finish this series but she makes it really difficult. Pokes her nose to everyone business just because she "knows" things. I like quirky detectives "who knows all" with some depth but she is just annoyingly shallow. When the character doesn’t offer much, actor/actress has to shoulder extra responsibility to deepen the character but the actress couldn’t managed that unfortunately.
Update: 8 eps in, she has managed to become more annoying.
It is sad to see that he kind of vanished after a wonderful and bold performance in Mouse. It has been 4 years and it is still one of the best k-drama performances to me. I though he started a new path in his career with it but well… Not sure if it is by choice or a result of the reactions to his marriage and don’t know if Koreans moved on from it or not.

Trin and Tanwa shouldn’t end up together. Not before a time jump and after 50+ hours therapy for each. At least. This is the second time Trin loses sb he loves and it is the second time he blames the people close to him. First he blamed their friends by not protecting Claire, now he blames Tanwa. Tanwa didn't shoot Victor. Tanwa even warned him, which Victor didn’t even take him seriously. And in both cases, he seems to disregard the real culprits: the governments They both died because they were against governments policies. Neither his friends nor Tanwa are the root of the problem here, are they? Trin will probably go to Paris to work for the Thai government-consulate (oh, the irony) and hopefully will go to a therapist to work on his traumas. Starting with channeling his anger where the real problem is.
Tanwa should also let him go. He tried to get out of his comfort zone and it didn’t work like he intended to do. He thought he was trying to protect Trin but got punched at the end and blamed for the shooting of his fav student. I don’t think they will get over this in short period so time to move on. Tanwa also needs to work on his traumas which is to seeing people he loves go to die and leave him. He let his mother go, he didn’t want to let Trin go and it ended as tragedy anyway. He also needs to stay away from the men who are ready to beat him down. That would be my happy ending for them imo. I will not call it a happy ending if the script don’t address their issues.

Seeing from the comments here, only acceptable solution would be if he jumped on Victor right there because Victor has feelings… by completely disregarding how uncomfortable Trin was… Let’s agree to disagree because we see things very differently.

That is why Trin did his best even if he was clearly uncomfortable in that scene no? Was that a normal love declaration scene to you? People are biased towards Victor so they turned that scene into a romantic love declaration but what would you think if you see a student and his teacher in that setting? And the student continues to keep trying and walking around his teachers house at night?

Well, I am not sure anymore after he tried many times (such as getting naked in front of his teacher with sexual innuendos) and Trin kindly rejected him how many times?. And still here he is… And what was that expression when he recognized Tanwa’s car? What was he expecting? That Trin would stay away from Tanwa just because he said so? Idk, I don’t like his approach to Trin, like only he has the right to love him or smt. He is becoming weirdly possessive without a reason and I can’t brush it off as teenage love. It is even more weird people call his actions as "romantic"
Victor… no means NO, kiddo… what were you doing around Trin’s house at midnight? And why are so surprised that you saw Tanwa’s car there? Were you thinking that Trin was playing hard to get or smt? So were you planning to sneak in Trin’s room? Watching you pushing your chance was uncomfortable enough, please stop.

I think he still will be like her? Or be a last push for Trin to change. Because I don’t understand why else they push his one sided crush that hard. It is clear that Trin is not interested in him anyway but he is still act like they are flirting. It might a way to connect him emotionally to Trin in this way to get more reaction when smt happens to him, idk.
Seeing how his mother ended up (I feel like we still don’t know the whole story and it will be more terrifying imo) and his relationship (a very toxic one) with his father, I am surprised that Tanwa is still somewhat turned up to be decent human being. He ended up being a hippie, he might turned up a serial killer, criminal or smt. "I am his son so he can’t kill me but you should stay away" is a very fucked up mental state. And we saw that he has a point. It is not easy to figure out and manage all those traumas, it is good that Trin is willing to be there for him, though first thing he needs to have is…patience. It is not like Tanwa is not trying, he is in his own way. That is not enough for Trin at the moment. Hopefully they will find a middle way. I know some bl audience’s priority is watching men shagging, the conditions is not that important. But seeing Trin’s feelings for Tanwa, the only thing Victor can be…a rebound? And if one thing is more problematic than being with your student is rebounding with your student. No need to say that Trin is not that kind of person (at least, he doesn’t seem so far) I think whatever will happen to Victor will push Trin to change more drastically (like Trin might learn it then reject him then feel bad if smt happens to V).
