Akin’s THAT look at Jin right before confessing is doing things to me! Eyes pouring love is what that is… And the relief he felt after he learnt the truth😭
God this was so beautifully written . Your description is on another level . You didn't just watch the series.…
Ah thank you :) I didn’t expect to be this impressed and connected when I started to watch haha! But I am glad I did and I hope they continue in that way. Looking forward to ep 7.
I think what impressed me most in last 3 episodes is Akin’s desperation and urgency when it comes to Jin (thanks to Boom’s really good and insightful acting) and imo, it mainly started in ep 4, that car scene after Jin started to put distance between them. You deprived yourself from a real connection for so long, when you shut yourself down and put a front for years, when you put an act even your daily life… Then someone comes, literally crash into your life and changes everything. You resist with all your strength but this kid found a way to slip through the cracks. You give up, let yourself to get used to that love and attention as you fall in love too. So it becomes unbearable when it is taken away from you because now you know what is it like. You know how sweet it tastes (like honey ;)) and you are addicted. After that failed live in ep 4, Akin started get more and more distressed with the possibility of losing Jin. And in that car scene he gets frantic. All his walls crumbled, his aloof act dropped, he just wants Jin back, wants that affection, love and connection back desperately. A real, panicked person who is about to lose what he just got. Add his inability to communicate, his struggle to find the right words, his inexperience to become vulnerable makes him more realistic. This scene was also a turning point for Akin because he started to take initiative. He got into the car, make Jin drop him home, take him home to talk and started the intimacy. And his first clear attempts to express himself with "I thought you hated me" and "why can’t I do things on my way even once" (he opened up more in the other car scene and afterwards in ep 5) I also appreciate that they changed this from the source material, that Akin initiated their first time here. I think it really fits with his character development. And since this car scene of ep 4, you see that raw emotions in Akin every time when he feels like he might lose Jin. Of course the climax was the end of ep 6 (and I think his explosive emotions will reach to another level in ep 7 imo) He just cannot repress and control his emotions like he used to anymore but he also doesn’t know how to handle and show them so he struggles deeply and I really really like this side of the character. His tragedy is (he thinks) he lost Jin about something he didn’t have any consent-control, doesn’t remember and cannot explain. Boom handles that state of mind and those scenes perfectly. It gives such an authentic feeling to character, gives him extra layers.
I saw Pond shared Piaget’s 1969 ad and wrote Shine 1969 on it so it is possible
Yea, Apo is their brand ambassador and they gave him a very expensive watch for his birthday so their relationship is very good. I don’t think Pond would write Shine on Piaget ad just for the aesthetics but let’s wait and see… Shine will have many sponsors, that is for sure…
Hopefully there will be a way to watch it internationally and I wish they can release the episodes with good English translation. Thai humor might be difficult to understand without good translation
That is why I am confused about shooting periods… maybe his role in jet lag is not that big and demanding so…
Yeah that might be possible but to manage such a tight schedule means a disciplined organization and we all know boc is not that😅 I want to think that they have done those arrangements and his program will be cleared but they still haven’t announced any details about Shine (whole cast, press conference and release, shooting date etc) That makes me think that there is still time to officially start shooting so yeah, May seems more possible… We are on "coming soon" mode for the last 4 months so I don’t know anymore… We have to wait and see… Sometimes i think Shine is just in our collective imaginations and not real😅😂
If I find it again I'll share the link but I'm really confused about how BOC plans to air the sitcom Mile is in…
That is why I am confused about shooting periods… maybe his role in jet lag is not that big and demanding so he will do both? It shouldn’t be that difficult to clarify this but well…boc is boc…
Jetlag 1st episode will air on May 7. The day of the event I've read that the sitcom had filmed until Q3 but I…
Thank you for the airing date. So they finished filming jet lag? I didn’t see any clarification about it (in classic boc style) and didnt think Mile could handle the shooting of both (workload wise) so I assumed he would finish one to start another. But they really seem to start Shine soon, definitely this spring. Apo’s current look is for Shine imo, Mile keeps rehearsing etc. they are gearing up.
In the meantime, Mile is starring in a sitcom called Jet-lag with Bible. It is 20 episodes. It will broadcast throughout spring-summer. I don’t know if they finish filming Jet-Lag but let’s assume they start shooting Shine in April to May-June, with the post production etc, it might be ready in Autumn in best case imo (just my speculation) Hope for the best, prepare for the worst😅

Replace that aqua man costume with sharp vintage costumes…🤯
