Trin, my confused pumpkin!😇 He turned back to Thailand with most noble motivations, to a situation that he cannot solve with pure idealism. He will face with the reality and choose his side (we might see a confrontation when he learns how deep Krailert in this government shit, smt Krailert protected him to keeping him away for 9 years) In addition to that, he got hit by a hurricane called Tanwa! Which is a disaster (a wonderful kind, imo:)) for a methodical and disciplined guy like him. Tanwa seems determined to charm Trin’s socks off and he is succeeding even if he doesn’t aware of the existential crisis he has caused…yet. I am curious if Tanwa has any other motivation for approaching Trin. Imo, he looks Trin with a certain…intent? He is interested in Trin for sure, but not sure if it is purely as attraction. That father-uncle connection is too close to Tanwa to be unaware, imo. It doesn’t have to be a deep-complicated reason, he might heard Krailert’s nephew who was in Paris and now returned. Because it is very clear that Trin seems very clueless about power struggles behind the scenes and the connection between his uncle and Tanwa’s father. But Tanwa might have an idea. He isn’t as chill as he seems, there is an anger pit bubbling in him. And he might not be as oblivious as he claims about the things happening around him. I don’t think he is out of all these connections between other characters, imo.
Krailert’s scene with general was really fcked up and sadly very realistic. Government is clearly aware of his "preferences" and they intervened when they thought it was getting serious. They murdered the actor, had a "talk" with Krailert to warned/threaten him and married him with the top guy’s daughter which was presented as a high fortune. Caging into a marriage you never wanted to. Thing is: Krailert knows it all, that his situation is hopeless and dangerous if he follows his feelings. A small misstep and his loved ones might die. So he shuts himself off and does what he is told. Don’t think, don’t feel, just float through life. Naran brought that spark back and he gave in the temptation but at what cost? Another sad thing is, Dhevi seems to genuinely love him. She is also a sad reality of spouses to cover the truth.
Tanwa said that he uses his mother’s hard earned money, completely refuses that as his father’s money. Either it is a defense mechanism to lash out or his mother was not a high class-born rich and worked for her fortune or mother-father worked together to build it. Phadoem seems to really care for his wife and her death anniversary. Father is disappointed with Tanwa as a whole and Tanwa seems to resent his father about…everything? Curious of how much her death (or how she died) affected father-son conflict. Or how he went off the rails completely. His sudden rise of anger was not normal and definitely not fit with his happy-hippie life.
This look that Miles has for the role reminds me of his look before KinnPorsche :)He used to have long hair, he…
Yeah, he has said many times that he loves and prefers long hair. I kind of imagine him saying "I want to have a hippie role and hippies have long hair so I am gonna grow my hair YOU CANNOT STOP ME11!1"😂😂
Many Thai and international YouTube channels release reaction videos of Shine trailer and the reactions are mainly positive with curiosity to learn more about Thailand in 60s. I would suggest to like and comment those videos to draw attention to Shine. Those channels are influential to spread the attention to the series.
I think they meant both, some kind of Shine tour after but the ceo specified that they will go to America before…
Yeah, I saw it and BoC is doing a good job to draw established and well known actors from out of BL range. BoC provides them more international exposure and gets high quality acting and more prestige to the projects in return. They will probably go with the same formula for Son Yuke and Euro like they did with Jes.
I'm very excited about this series but just 8 episodes? For real?I liked 4 minutes but it felt so rushed precisely…
I remember that CEO Pond said it is 8 eps because the budget is huge already, they cannot handle more than that. But they also said many people worked on the script, Apo said it is the best scrip he has read so hopefully it will be good🙌🤞

Me thinks: oh… so an orgy with feelings then?

BOC is taking its projects seriously and it shows.
