The court has forgiven those crimes she deserves to be free just like Lu Wen is free. He was going to free her…
You can only say he is wrong from ep 10, after Lu Wen surrendered. Not before then because before then, his motives were not selfish. Then after Lu Wen surrendered, he started struggling with letting her go after setting her up safely, and finding a way to be with her.
The court has forgiven those crimes she deserves to be free just like Lu Wen is free. He was going to free her…
It does not mean he would be able to tell her easily or immediately. I'm not even talking about the court labelling Lu Wen as a bandit and being out for his head, but about CXZ's relationship with Lu Wen. In light of their relationships, what else should he have done in the beginning? And even now that Lu Wen has surrendered, who is to say she will not exact revenge herself?
Anyway, like I said in my previous post, CXZ is hurting her definitely and with all the things he has to consider, he definitely makes the wrong decisions sometimes. But I can't blame him too much for it based on his position and the situation.
I just remembered something else that is funny about this situation. CXZ is falling for and living with someone else's WIFE lmaooooo. This is so funny I can't. And he was thinking of making her his concubine too lmaooooooo. And yes I am talking about who he thinks she is.
I'm here to remind everyone again that LMT is actually CZX's enemy. They are not friends. Who is to say that she will not turn on him for Mount Yang after she regains her memories?
What if she did not fall for him? And even as she has? CXZ is also playing a risky game because he knows that the clot in her brain is dissolving and she will soon regain her memories.
Wanting CXZ to expose himself means you want him to choose LMT over the country, over his life and the lives of his family, because that is why he started playing this game in the first place. But are we sure she would choose him over the life she has forgotten? We still don't know anything about her past and who she was.
" But let's remember that she is also his enemy. She and her supposed husband Lu Wen have been robbing people…
It is very sad. We know nothing of what LMT was like in her real state. People don't know what heinous crimes she may have committed.
CXZ is someone that is trying to do the best for everyone, forsaking himself. The burden on his shoulders is so great. He is doing his best for the country, but those threatened by him are actively trying to kill him and wipe out his family and this bandit situation is one of the moves they can make against him. What do we expect him to do?
Unlike many people, I actually don't hate CXZ. He went with the flow when she called him husband and that is very wrong. But let's remember that she is also his enemy. She and her supposed husband Lu Wen have been robbing people and causing unrest in the country for years. So much so that two renowned generals in two counties have been fighting against them.
What do we expect he should have done? Play nice with his enemy to catch the bigger enemy? It was an unfortunate situation, but he did what he had to do for the peace of the country. It is either this or he left her to die because he had absolutely nothing to do with her and she is his enemy, so letting her die is another good choice.
The problem here is that LMT is actually a loving and very devoted wife. And she is devoting all of herself into something that is a farce and has developed real feelings. So she will definitely be very hurt when the truth comes out.
CXZ is in a very difficult position now due to all these and his growing feelings, so he does not make the best decisions like today. He has too much to consider and has not yet found a good solution. So while some of his actions can be excusable, some are just terribly heartbreaking and tbh, I don't blame him too much. What would I do if I were him? This is what character development is about.
Right now, the person that is suffering the most is CXZ. He's really going through it and I can't really blame him for his choices tbh. He was just trying to do the best for his country by eliminating very elusive bandits. But the one that we feel the most for is LMT because this is all a deception. A very elaborate web of lies.
