This is a stunning movie, I started to watch it a few times but idk why I always stop halfway.
The story is slow to begin with and then kicks it into high gear. Like nearly all ZYM films it is gorgeous to look at. This is my second time to watch it.

After the comment below I deleted most of the reasons. Even though I did it with humor thought maybe I’d been too mean. I never got personal it’s all about how I view their job performance. Maybe I’ll put the comments back in sometime. 😁 person below lives in their own world. I’m honestly surprised when anyone from MDL finds this list. Cannot imagine any actor searching through the thousand of members of MDL and then down to the bottom of my lists and getting their feelings hurt because some random woman doesn’t like their acting 😄
There are some that have been in trouble for pervy behavior. But mostly it’s the screechers, baby talkers, hair actors, planks of wood, or had so much facial work done they can no longer show emotion. A lot of them are very popular, they just don’t do it for me. I’m a big believer in vive la difference! ❤️

Hmm…I hope it’s supposed to be a shorter drama. Not sure this one could be dragged out into 50 episodes. Having said that I would like to have seen more (any) character development and a drama could do that. All of the characters were enigmas and the Yu family never said a word.
I watched the HK remake many years ago. It wasn't great but I liked it bc I must have had no standards back then.

This was a tough one to watch. I’d read that some of the characters were based on real interviews. Tougher to write a review for because this was also a work of art. It’s been a while since I’ve revisited this subject because it is so difficult and heartbreaking.
The question is do we trust the top dramas in this list XD
I watched and deleted the top drama off this list and put it on my completed list for this VL. The FL tried my patience something fierce. The FL from Back from the Brink which seemed wildly popular on the feeds also annoyed me for much of the drama. 0-2.
Estelll talked me into watching Dong Lan Xue, a web drama that once you get past the first 3 episodes or so isn’t bad. Nowhere near TROP or NIF but also a quick watch with a lot of blood and a surprisingly sexy scene.
