I thought she took the super strength medicine after she knew she only had a few days to live because it would shorten the person’s life?

Eternal Love (TMOPB) was my first Asian drama and the only reason I'm watching them today. I loved it and watched it a couple of times before I was able to move on. I also enjoyed Pillow Book and both Eternal Loves. I also watched Love and Destiny which is a kissing cousin of Eternal Love. Wasn't as crazy about it even though I loved the actors. The only one I haven't seen is the Kris Wu one. Thanks for the article! These dramas don't get a lot of love on the feeds so I'm always happy to see others who enjoyed them like I did. :)

After watching it I could go back and read your article fully. You were spot on about everything. I’m glad I persevered past the first bloody episode. :)

I watched the first episode and then saw where your article was up. You’ve given me the courage to keep going. I was starting to fear that it just going to be Hotel Busan instead of Train To. And you know how I feel about zombies. XD

Great job!

Because the dates say that the drama is still airing - you can’t “complete” a drama if not all the episodes…
I was wondering if Youku was still airing them or if the dates were incorrect. I hope I remember to go back and add this in late January.

Just watched the season finale on Netflix. Primary details show 8 episodes. But the dates go to 2021. Anyone know why I can’t list this as completed?

I had just finished this movie and felt the need to rant. It didn't help that everyone was miserable and cheating. Such a depressing 5 hours. Maybe if I'd split it up and watched an hour a day it wouldn't have seemed so oppressive.

There wasn't a lot of plot, but I don't expect much from movies like this. The action scenes were exceptional and I cannot imagine the skill and choreography involved with the gang scenes and the one on one scenes. Donnie as always was amazing. :)

I remembered yesterday how much I loved Xena: Warrior Princess, and here is an article about Strong Female Characters!…
A Cdrama Xena remake is always at the top of my wish list. I've watched a bunch of sword wielding women but none that could match Xena in skill, character depth and not needing a man to rescue the day or step in.

Do you remember what episode is it when Han Gyul knew that Eun Chan is a girl?
No problem. Sorry again that I was so late in responding. If you watch it I hope you enjoy it. :)

Do you remember what episode is it when Han Gyul knew that Eun Chan is a girl?
Sorry I'm late in responding. It's been awhile since I watched it. Seems like it was 2/3 or 3/4's of the way through. It's built around him thinking that Eun Chan is a boy and how his feelings develop and how he fights those feelings. That's the biggest conflict at first. And then the conflict once he finds out the truth.

Almost documentary in nature the performances are so natural and relaxed. Definitely worth a try.

Sometimes they pull it off and sometimes I pretend the characters they are playing are older as in TROP. Two actresses who really need to accept that they are grown ass women are Tiffany Tang and Park Min Young. Tiffany is 36 and still trying to play teenagers, no amount of bright pink lipstick or high pitched voice is going to convince me. PMY trying to play a character younger than actors 7-12 years younger than her IRL pulled me out of the story constantly in When the Weather is Fine (not even going to talk about those painful flashbacks). I agree some older actors can bring depth to a younger character but perhaps the answer is allowing for stories that focus on older characters. 30-40 year olds have hopes, dreams, and needs for romance as well but too often, especially for women, they are seen as odd if still unmarried or looking for a meaningful life. Just glancing at the feeds and drama pages is enough to tell me a lot of people don't really care if their favorite young actor can act or not as long as he is pretty doing it.
