Title Love Stage!!
A mangaka? Interesting. I'm an avid manga reader and I know a thing or two about the topic so I'll be particularly alert.
I'm glad that Kaownah gets the main role, I have no doubts as to his acting skills from what I saw in TharnType 1.

This better be as good as the book or else I'll drop it. I became a "serial-dropper" lately.

Well, that wasn't the sucky eyesore I expected this show to be. It wasn't outstanding.. it can only be considered a very "primitive" execution in comparison with high standard TV programs... by anybody who has some good taste for good gay series and cinematography in general, but Episode 11 can be considered a tiny revolution, or a thin crack in the wall of stereotypical BL cinema. For the first time the propaganda lost a battle and I'm all for the change. If the BL industry wants to succeed, it should portray homosexuals better. There aren't only fangirling chicks watching these series, gay guys do too... and the last thing we like are stereotypes surrounding our community and identity. So, nice mini improvement in Bad Buddy.
*The eco-friendly speech was an appreciable addition too!

I watched this series several times these past years and I remember every scene. For me, it's in the top 3 of the best comedic gay Thai series ever made. Humor and handsome males always make perfect ingredients for a drama. Well done!

I'll be honest (once again despite what some may think or say), I had a problem with the shows made by GMMTV. Either it was the script, the acting, the cast... Let's say I always found something to complain about. I always favored the series made by TV Thunder and LINE TV over GMMTV...

BUT,

I'm impressed with the quality of Bad Buddy. It ain't a flawless masterpiece but I see the improvement in the acting and the script (a bit rushed in Ep 7, the dialogue could have been better written). I see that the teams take into consideration the criticism and are willing to learn and progress. It's a good surprise.

I hope the remaining episodes won't make me regret my praiseful words though...

Has it been cancelled? I thought a new production company could still pick up the series.
Last I heard, Filmania dropped the other shoe... what equals a cancellation.. since the series doesn't aire in August anymore. I just put in a general statement in regard of the present situation, what happens next does no longer interest me.

A cancellation is better than a worthless achievement. I'm rather relieved by the latest news..
Too bad that Mile cut his hair for the show; I hope he doesn't regret it.. as a long-haired guy, I know what a sacrifice it must have been for him :(

If GMMTV meddles in, I won't even watch the new, official trailer. I'm done with their dime-store shows.

In all honestly and sadness, would there be a movie or series with a LGBT characters without a homophobic?? It's…
The world will never be all black or all white. Ironically, it's as colorful as a rainbow. There will always be homophobes and people to counter them... however, bringing up the homophobia topic, systematically, in every show is something that needs to cease. It's not only naming the blight, it's normalizing it.. telling the homophobes ''It's alright, you are not alone!''
In this movie it's okay, as it's discussing a social fact that can't be concealed, but, in regard of the teens-oriented/BL shows, work has to be done.
To quote Tyler Oakley “...homophobia is a terrible evil 'cause it disguises itself as concern while it's inherently hate.”

The kind of themes I'm usually looking for... but I doubt the quality of this show :(

Rolling my eyes dramatically... They better make it original or else they'd lose me partway... the trailer was... not my cup of tea, to put it simply. KinnPorsche's gonna remain my plan A in what relates to Thai series this year, I'm afraid!

I only vote for Obsessed because it's the only one that does truly stand out. No actor in this list can beat Bernard He's acting performance or his chemistry with Teddy Ren. The story isn't bad either. So, my vote goes to Obsessed.

Don't give western morals that much credit. This series is catching a lot of flack from fans in Taiwan too.
You should have read the sarcasm in my words... I've put the corpus delicti between quotation marks, even!
On HIStory4: Close to You May 17, 2021
Because only half of the show was watchable [10/2], the story-line shallow [[10/2] -1] and the intrigue thoroughly degrading to the ethics and values that us, homosexuals, live by and for, [[[10/2] -1] - 1] my maximum rating can't be higher than 3/10. BL is fine by me and incest [that was nowhere here] is also fine by me... but my tolerance, although very high, has its boundaries. Sexual harassment TOWARDS ALL GENDERS is something I can't accept. It's not because we are men that it would be acceptable.. that line in the script infuriated me. I know that our ''cherished Western morals'' are differently perceived in Asia but, for knowing Taiwan, I expected something, apparently, different. Too bad.
On The Wedding Banquet May 10, 2021
I watched this movie a looooooooooong time ago, probably 12 years ago or more, but didn't remember until the actual banquet scene. No time wasted though, I enjoyed every scene... the banquet and Wei Wei's vows [lmfao] a little bit more!

I dont know you are throwing shade or hate as Queer is written in you name but every gay couple who are mentally…
I started my comment with ''For me'' which means I speak in a declarative way... ''I'' say what ''I'' think... and what I think/mean in my comment above is that there are some encouraging and some scary aspects to this show. Those who want kids will learn what to expect and be prepared accordingly.. becoming a parent ain't a part-time thing, and those who don't.. [like me].. will just freak out.

''Ten Good Reasons Not to Have Kids When You're Gay'' is an allusion to ''10 Good Reasons to Ditch You'', another title for the movie ''10 Things I Hate About You''. 10 good reasons not to... the question is.. are they enough... not to...? They weren't enough in the movie for Patrick/Heath Ledger!

Whereas most of you are here fangirling, this question of having kids as a gay man I live it in my couple. But, as a guy with huge professional responsibilities and a phobia for duty, I don't have time to be a father.

Not a bad thing at all. People who don't want kids shouldn't be deceived by some sort of mystical romanticism…
I agree with you, not everybody is born to be a parent, some people shouldn't have a living being under their responsibility (baby, animal, bacteria...). I'm one of them :/
