Honestly, I find myself struggling a bit with the series. The editing is abysmal at parts, with cuts being jumpy…
@Chaska I agree on everything you say. You put words on my thoughts and it makes me happy to see someone who know a thing or two about filming! Your analysis of the situation is accurate, the chemistry is lacking, the acting is approximative, the sequencing unbalanced,... the script is so-so, the side story absolutely useless... but, just like you, I watch for the fun of it. I appreciate Green's personality (and I like the actor, Gun), he's my favorite character and as long as he would be there to make me smile I'll watch :)
I agree with you. The 4th episode didn't please me as much as the others either. I am watching this drama mainly…
I didn't say otherwise but "friendly chemistry" is just the chemistry that all the actors of this series have, that doesn't make any difference. I am not talking as a viewer but as a screenwriter because, as a screenwriter, I can read the script of a show through the actors' text as well as behaviors, some actors happen to be more communicative than others, whereas some emotions are easier to express than others... and when it comes to cinematography the devil does truly hide in the details. If actors can't give off the right emotions that characterize their characters, the whole project would be on the skids. To understand what I am talking about just watch Matthew Daddario and Harry Shum Jr (Alec Lightwood and Magnus Bane) in Shadowhunters, they are the best gay example as to what love vibes and chemistry between two men is supposed to be in a series. For an Asian example, I think Bernard He and Teddy Ren in Obsessed did an outstanding job, a truly remarkable performance... unsuspected in a low budget series!
They didn't bring anything to My Tee but where there's life, there's hope, and a miracle can happen lol
You are nice if you think it's awful, the last time I depicted it, I named it "the apocalypse of cinematography" lol I haven't watched Our Skyy so I can't tell, I just remember that they were pleasant to watch during the 4 first episodes of My Tee (before the show goes down the drain), so probably it wasn't totally their fault if their acting collapsed toward the end... though I don't know how it ended, I dropped it on the 9th episode like most.

My Tee's problem wasn't even the acting. The whole process was problematic and with a failed script and wrong filming decisions, actors can't do miracles. Yet, personally, I didn't find them outstanding. I like them separately, but they don't convince me as a couple.
come on, it’s called my engineer, what did you expect? XD
Thanks for the information, it's great that we get to learn about other cultures while spending time watching our favorite shows. I was curious because 1 series on 2 had engineers in it (Together With Me, Dark Blue Kiss, Love By Chance, 2 Moons, Sotus, Sotus S, Why R U?... etc.) but with this one, I thought that we reached the bottom of the thing, the ''engineer'' climbed out of the show and showed up in the title lol
come on, it’s called my engineer, what did you expect? XD
I watch BL and non-BL... mostly Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Taiwanese dramas and movies (It's not intentional but I only watch BL when it comes to Thai shows. In fact the last non-BL Thai drama I watched was Full House and I dropped it after the 2nd or 3rd episode because I preferred the Korean version lol) so I am not sure if the theme concerns other genres in Thai cinema or not.. but I noticed that this "fixation" is more obvious in Thai shows than in other countries. There is more homogeneity in Taiwanese and Japanese shows. Taiwan beats them all when it comes to creativity but South Korea's screenwriters wrote the best scripts I've seen in BL :)

I am not disappointed in Fluke, he is a great actor, I think the script of UWMA wasn't good enough for him, it wasn't well-thought-out... what didn't permit to bring out all his potential... this is why I worry for Cooper and a few other good young actors :(
come on, it’s called my engineer, what did you expect? XD
That's interesting, thanks for the information. I was just curious to know why because of the redundancy of that theme in Thai series... I recall my very first Thai BL was Right By Me and if I am not wrong the characters were engineering students, the movie was released in 2005 lol
come on, it’s called my engineer, what did you expect? XD
For me Cooper will, somehow, always be Golf from My Bromance The Series just like Fluke will always be Bank from My Bromance The Movie (when an actor is outstanding in one role, it sticks to his skin).. Cooper was great in the role of Golf, so I worry about the script of this new series and his performance... I hope he will do better than in his previous projects... much better than Fluke in Until We Meet Again (though it wasn't Fluke's fault if the acting wasn't what it was supposed to be).
I haven't watched the first episode yet. I think I will just binge watch it once it's over.. I have very little patience and 2gether is reducing it into smoke a little bit more every week already lol

Nope, in fact I laughed when I read your comment. I am just still frustrated because of the title lol
I liked Cooper a lot in My Bromance The Series, I'd be sad if this show ruins him in my eyes. I watched the trailer and like it, I am just trying to answer a few metaphysical questions before watching the first episode lol

I didn't mean it that way lol I am just wondering why there are so many Thai series based on that. I am gay and I attended a few classes with engineering students in the past following the advice of my teacher, I won't be the first one to throw a stone at gay engineers, but there are enough other specialties to be creative.... and original. Even if this series happens to be great, the theme leaves me skeptic for now!
I read two or three chapters on Wattpad. The person is still translating it (7 chapters are published for the moment). I can give you a link to it if you want :)
