But are you guys sure the express is gonna drop? Somehow I feel like they're gonna drop single ep till Tuesday!…
They are leaving it late if it doesn't drop today. It's almost not worth it after that.

Maybe keep flooding comments on the drama's weibo page to hurry up πŸ˜‚ let them know you want to see the drama…
Yes, TBL was another drama I was super-hyped for that didn't deliver (it's officially my lowest rated drama). It happens. Not very often, but it happens. I really like SZN, but there was nothing she could do to save that show. It blows my mind how someone can make a 40-episode series and fill it with episodes where hardly anything happens. In long 30-40 episode dramas, the golden rule should be fill the space. I'm actually a fan of old movies, so I don't necessarily need action. I'd be fine with Β them filling the space with interesting dialogue. The key word is INTERESTING. TBL has lots of talking for the sake of talking πŸ˜†.

Youku can fast track a drama when it wants to. Seems like only yesterday we were watching clips from the filming stage. Now, it's nearly here. I'm excited 😊❀️.

Pingting don't even like him like that lol.
I'll even settle for Chubby 😁. Just don't leave our girl PT forever trapped in a childlike state 😭.

This isn’t a romance drama.
OK. I'll quickly fill in the blanks regarding the reference.Β

The film is not only one of the greatest westerns, but also one of the great films of all-time. It's essentially a male-led revenge drama like Zang Hai. Culminating in a final duel between two old warriors of the west. Similar to the great Japanese samurai films of the past. There is little room for romance in a harsh but breathtaking environment. Jill (Claudia Cardinale)Β might seem somewhat unnecessary given the context of the story, but without her, it would be an incomplete masterpiece. In many ways, she is the light in an often cruel and dark world. She is the hope for a new beginning. There are no intimate scenes between Jill and Harmonica, simply powerful fleeting moments. Harmonica, typically looked at in fear by others, is looked at very differently by Jill at the end. If he wishes to change, there is someone and something waiting for him to come back to. This is the faint hint of romance I'm referring to. They used to do it really well in old films. Even where one might think it doesn't fit. It really is a lost art.Β

Here's the scene for a visual reference...

Correct. But, it's nice to have a hint of a connection. Yes, even the tiniest hint is most satisfying. Think Claudia Cardinale as Jill in Once Upon a Time in the West, and that look she gave Harmonica.

Hong Sha & thirteen thousand look better together, their bond is so chaotic on the other hand his relationship…
All true. But, I like to back the underdog. Crowd favourite PT needs happiness 😊.

I really loved the acting, but the story would've been much better served as a 15–24 episode series. There are just far too many elements here to fit into an hour and fifty minutes (give or take). Movies need to say a lot in a short space of time, and drama series need extra time to allow the story to develop. OWF sadly gets caught somewhere in between. There simply isn't enough time to properly develop the core components of the drama, so it's delivered more as a plot twist, and due to these components remaining underdeveloped, the story really doesn't say or do a lot.Β

OWF is still worth a watch if you have some free time, but I can't help but think this was a missed opportunity with this talented young cast.

Don’t know about the novel but ep 21, Kun straight up tells Luo Ren it’s from an alien world . My guess is…
Thanks. I sensed this when they related the relics to a constellation.
