I'm on first episode: FL's mom: "I'll give you a large portion as a thank you next time" What ML should have said: "can I have your daughter instead?" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
what the hell was that ending? why did ML just quit his job like that? wouldn't it have been better if he replaced SML and tried to change the company from within so that it wouldn't treat it's employees like dirt anymore? why quit anyway, wasn't he chummy with the CEO old woman? if he had asked she would have allowed him to be the potato lab chief permanently, and that way he could have been in the village and close to FL and not have the job of firing people indiscriminately.
another issue I had was how useless SML and his wife were to the plot, they didn't really add much to the plot, beside telling ML that he was the one who fired FL the first time, but that could have been done with him just randomly seeing her file on his PC when searching about her in the servers.
It's because LR is quintessentially a proper rom-com with zero annoying BS, we don't have a meddling SML in LR,…
"It ate as a MELO SLICE DRAMA" the rating says otherwise.
" Love Next Door and this drama aren’t connected"
I never said they were, I simply provided an example I had in mind about a recent drama that was falsely advertised and marketed.
"Why are you so bothered by it?"
Because it lied to me, I went in expecting a happy fun rom-com and what I got was a slow af melo slice of life that was boring as hell that failed at the romance and comedy, all I've said since then about it in this comment section or the drama's own comment section has only been to inform others so they don't make the same mistake I did, I've never lied and have only ever stated the facts as I saw them.
the big question is why are you so triggered with me talking about a drama with someone else? why do you feel this need to insert yourself in this conversation?
the rating of 9 dragged me in but this was such a typical romcom to me with lots and lots of plot holes not that…
It's because LR is quintessentially a proper rom-com with zero annoying BS, we don't have a meddling SML in LR, we don't have meddling parents, we don't have side characters that get more screen time than the leads, we don't have screen-time getting wasted by explaining away the villains tragic history, we don't have an out of nowhere breakup(we do have a breakup but it thematically makes sense and is done so beautifully).
then there is the fact that most dramas that do amnesia or memory erasure for a lead leave it like that, the couple has to start over, and that makes the audience feel like they've wasted their time but in LR we didn't have that.
I'm also curious to know what do you mean by "typical" rom-com? is it wrong for a drama that is advertised as a rom-com to be just that? why do you want the story to be dragged down by unnecessary BS? take a look at "Love next door" a drama advertised as a rom-com but it fails on every front to be a rom-com and turns into a melo slice of life.
as far as plot-holes go I didn't personally see anything that would take away from the amazing story, you've also haven't provided any so can't really refute what you've failed to explain.
he was just discharged from the military last month.
I find that very hard to believe, it was good at first, but the later episodes were just complete nonsensical trash, it wasn't even silly fun, it was just a confusing mess.
Yeah, I'm currently on my second rewatch❤️❤️Twinkling watermelon is good too if you want a recommendation.
Ok then I'm gonna just watch undercover and don't bother with nemesis and haunted palace I did take a look at, but it didn't look interesting to me, I'll make a more solid decision on that after it finishes.

those are all great choices, I've seen them all except undercover high school and dearest nemesis, can you tell me without spoilers if they have a happy ending and no annoying sml? I'd really appreciate it.
Immediately lost interst

1. happy ending?
2.love triangle?

Also season 2? there is no way it's gonna happen

2. Definitely, FL's wishy washy attitude and her mom's abusive nature really triggered me.
3. I guess it could be called healthy, it just never felt like that to me cuz of their lack of chemistry.
4. For sure, it'll make you cry
if you want a happy fulfilling rom-com then nope this is not that.
If you want a slow melo slice of life then this is excellent for you.
PS: be aware that the poster is quite misleading.
PSS: if you have plot specific questions or want to know more let me know😁
