finally finished it, and whoever decided adding the grandma into this drama was a good idea has a bunch of screws loose, she single-handedly brought this drama down, without her this would have been a fantastic fluffy watch but unfortunately because of her I have to rate this 3.5/10.
she was really unnecessary to the plot too, she didn't have an arc either, she was just evil for the sake of being evil, she just wanted to spread pain, she had no goals in life beside that, even Sauron had a goal he was working towards, she was just pure trash🤮
yeah, she is the typical abusive asian mom that the audience and everyone around them is just supposed to accept…
Yeah, I was feeling the same. I'm a fan of both Hea In and So Min and was looking forward to this so much, unfortunately the script really lets it down, it's marketed and advertised as a rom-com but it's not that at all, the comedy is stale and boring and the lack of chemistry and minimal romance is also another issue. But the fault is entirely on the writing/directing and not the actors cuz anytime we have a semblance of spark and chemistry they cut it off right there, it's like someone's teasing you with something good that will never come, an endless tease with no relief.
I haven’t finished this one yet, but am I the only one who really hates Seokryu’s mother? It’s like she…
yeah, she is the typical abusive asian mom that the audience and everyone around them is just supposed to accept as normal. she doesn't really improve either
Moral of the story: write a trash story BUT hire 10/10 looking actors to still end up having a vErY goOD DrAma
I just rewatched it yesterday and have to agree, it's not totally trash, the early episodes were good but the later episodes and the plot with the grandpa was stupid, he was killing himself for ML to be with someone and he was preaching about how open-minded he is but then when FL showed up he made a 180
This was a good watch for the first like 6/7 episodes they literally had me hooked but idk I got tired of it towards…
Yeah, it was a lot harder to follow after the halfway mark, I feel like they revealed stuff too soon, like Su A's struggle with having feelings for a student could have gone on for longer, and it could have made a lot more funny scenes, or when we discovered that the villain knew ML was undercover, it kind of defeated the whole aspect of the word "undercover".
His last few were flops, so maybe he is being more careful. Train was awesome but unfortunately it was shown during…
Yeah, his dramas have always been weird to me cuz he has been excellent in them, but the plot and the rest of the cast have always been either awful or just extremely mid.
It's between Sejeong and Tae Oh, so it's also going to be a gender bender show.
It would depend on the writing though, it can be good if they don't take themselves too seriously, body swap can make a very chaotic comedy drama, but I'm guessing they're gonna take this way too seriously.
