It is confusing because it makes no sense, the writer in her infinite wisdom turned a simple time/dimension travel story into a coma one, so dude that got shot in the "head" and fell off a cliff is just fine and continues to get "revenge" by using deus ex machinas and plot-holes.

all valid points🤔you have to consider the haters too though, a lot of the really low reviews were because a lot of people were salty about LR's high rating, they would say so in the comments at the time and a lot of them made multiple accounts to upvote their own reviews.

When a drama is as successful as this, and is so universally loved and it can maintain it's high rating despite the hate that means that it's definitely not a 2 or 3 or 4.

It actually is a masterpiece in it's genre, now that's not a high bar cuz the opposition are a bunch of Kdramas too, but Lovely runner was rom-com masterpiece with very little to no annoying plot points that plague other dramas of the same genre and it managed to execute it's time-travel in a way that resulted in a very satisfying ending with no apparent plot-holes.
sure🤷♂️opinions🤔 It's just weird that whenever I ask them why they hated the drama so much they have no answer or they expose themselves by not paying attention to the plot or they choose to attack me over a made up reason they've come up, I've yet to see someone have a genuine reason to hate the drama.

it just made no sense to me in the context of the story, FL wanted to find herself and pursue a new career, already there wasn't enough time in the drama to address all that, but then we have the romance between ML and FL and by that point there had been no tension or romantic chemistry between them so the writer decides that instead of focusing on all of that, it's better to add the SML and complicate the story even further for no apparent reason. then FL has to move on from SML once again with the goodbye and with no time to breathe jump into a super serious relationship with ML, I just couldn't buy that.
I don't know how to feel about this one, the plot sounds interesting and I am a fan of Go Min Si but I'm not a fan of Kang Ha Neul, so that leaves me in quite a pickle.

the writing felt like it kept teasing and jerking us around with no pay off, they kept avoiding every opportunity to manifest the chemistry and tension between the leads.
It's not too bad, but as far as a rom-com goes, it falls short, it has very little romance and comedy and way too much annoying love triangle with SML.
For new viewers: don't bother with the reviews, as long as you love rom-coms and all you want is an amazing rom-com with a super satisfying ending, then this is the drama for you.
