the rating of 9 dragged me in but this was such a typical romcom to me with lots and lots of plot holes not that…
It's because LR is quintessentially a proper rom-com with zero annoying BS, we don't have a meddling SML in LR, we don't have meddling parents, we don't have side characters that get more screen time than the leads, we don't have screen-time getting wasted by explaining away the villains tragic history, we don't have an out of nowhere breakup(we do have a breakup but it thematically makes sense and is done so beautifully).
then there is the fact that most dramas that do amnesia or memory erasure for a lead leave it like that, the couple has to start over, and that makes the audience feel like they've wasted their time but in LR we didn't have that.
I'm also curious to know what do you mean by "typical" rom-com? is it wrong for a drama that is advertised as a rom-com to be just that? why do you want the story to be dragged down by unnecessary BS? take a look at "Love next door" a drama advertised as a rom-com but it fails on every front to be a rom-com and turns into a melo slice of life.
as far as plot-holes go I didn't personally see anything that would take away from the amazing story, you've also haven't provided any so can't really refute what you've failed to explain.
he was just discharged from the military last month.
I find that very hard to believe, it was good at first, but the later episodes were just complete nonsensical trash, it wasn't even silly fun, it was just a confusing mess.
Yeah, I'm currently on my second rewatch❤️❤️Twinkling watermelon is good too if you want a recommendation.
Ok then I'm gonna just watch undercover and don't bother with nemesis and haunted palace I did take a look at, but it didn't look interesting to me, I'll make a more solid decision on that after it finishes.

those are all great choices, I've seen them all except undercover high school and dearest nemesis, can you tell me without spoilers if they have a happy ending and no annoying sml? I'd really appreciate it.
I generally don’t like time-traveling dramas so I’d been putting this off for a long time. I ended up binging…
yeah I don't like time-traveling dramas either, but this and twinkling watermelon did a fantastic job when it came to the time-traveling aspect of the drama, they didn't try to overcomplicate things or add some stupid rules that would ruin the plot, they kept it simple and straight forward, I really appreciated that.
"I just hope that leads won't make annoying decisions"You're about to be subjected to leads that make the absolute…
yeah, I felt the same way in the early episodes, but it makes a sudden turn for the worst and it doesn't stop, it just gets worse and worse worse and then it ends.
Because her time ran out, do you want me to spoil the rest?
So Sol has a time-limit when it comes to how long she can stay in the past, which is why she want back to 2023.
about the fate that you asked: yeah she can change it, she will get her legs back, prevent Seonjae from dying, the villain dies and they'll end up together happily ever after.
Super, Super spoiler below: . . . . . . . . . . . . . in order to change Seonjae's fate and keep him alive, Sol makes him forget about ever meeting her, it's very sad and heart breaking, in the future they meet again by chance and a lot happens, some funny some sad, mostly funny and Seonjae ends up remembering everything and they get their happy endning.
I'm starting this. I'm not expecting much, I just hope that leads won't make annoying decisions.
"I just hope that leads won't make annoying decisions"
You're about to be subjected to leads that make the absolute worst and annoying decisions imaginable, whatever you're thinking right now? It's gonna be ten times worse🤣🤣
Once they confirmed their relationship, the fire just went out but still better than most. I quite liked comedy…
No trouble from the ex's? did we not watch the same drama? SFL tried but she was declined immediately but that annoying trash SML ruined the drama for me, he was constantly on FL's case and he wasn't taking no for an answer, then we had the mom trying to get them back together, then we had SML in ML's building intruding on their time together, then we had FL choosing SML to take her to the hospital? did you not see all of that?
