That definitely explains it, lol I guess people are just really shocked to find something like this coming from Korea, since I know many people who started watching asian dramas to get away from Hollywood. Nudity or explicit scenes are pretty much universal in all cultures, people have a hard time with that though. Honestly, considering what I've been hearing from other people about this, I agree with you--this would have been better as a movie

Yep, I feel the same way. It's weird honestly, but interesting too. I'm curious how well this show will do, since the production looks very high-quality and these are famous actors.
Can't exactly say the same about the dresses, though. They look like quinceañera prom dresses 😭 and the glitter isn't helping. But then again, this is all made up so it's whatever 🤷♀️🤷♀️
What I'm honestly a little torn about is why Korea had to make/write a Western-inspired story, when they could have set it in their own country with their own customary dress, just like in Perfect Crown. As a European too, I can't help but find this very costumey, like Mardi Gras even. I don't see Western productions coming up with royal Asian fictional shows (with Western actors), so this is definitely a little weird, personally.
Is he bad? I heard he doesn't do kiss scenes so I am reluctant to watch his romance drama but I love Bai Lu
Yup he chooses so many romance dramas but then refuses to have kissing scenes. Hes the reason why I’ve had to drop several shows. I don’t mind his acting, but I don’t like his choices. If I’m watching a romance story, I want affection and kisses 🥲😅
