I knew that she had noticed that Du girl was up to lo good despite her very young age. I explained in the comments that she noticed how the Du girl kept staring at the second Lin lady when she was playing go. She then dropped her hankies on the floor so that she could observe the Du sister without making it so obvious to her as she has realised that Du knew that she was staring at her but the fourth Lin lady came at that moment until the first Lin Madame called the Du girl in to see her.

I have not watched today’s episodes yet but I find FL very charming & sweet and ML is very handsome. The whole cast is great.

Yes, that was what I understood from the Chinese fans so that this could bound the Lin to the Du & elevate the DU’s family as they are not wealthy either. Hence, the third Lin lady has noticed that the Du was fixing her eyes on the 2nd Lin lady. The hat that Du brother was wearing is a sign that he is a scholar which he is not but to lure the 2nd Lin lady in falling for him. She mistakenly thought that he was Xie who is well read.

I think the third Lin lady has noticed that the Du girl was fixing her eyes on the second Lin lady even though she was playing Go or chess. The Du girl may have picked up that the second Lin lady likes guys that are both good in martial arts & books so my theory is she is trying to set her brother up with the second Lin lady who thought that the Du brother was the XIe guy who her family is trying to arrange the wedding for. By dropping her hankies on the floor, she would have been able to observe the Du girl underneath the table without making it to obvious that she is observing her but at the moment the fourth Lin girl came so she had to stop her from asking questions. I think she starts to think that the Du girl is up to something.

Does anyone notice that the third Lin lady was watching, oberving Miss Du during the banquet? Third Lin lady may have noticed that Du girl is up to no goo.

I understand from the novel readers that he has only found out her real identity after having their first child so maybe they may keep that in the drama.

I also read from the Chinese fans that are allegedly saying through the scenes where ZMT was fighting with some outlaws & got injured in the chaos & XLX was trying to save her. During their last discussion, ZMT gave some secret documents showing that the Lin family was supportive of the deposed emperor just like the Shen family. Unfortunately, the Shen family remained loyal to the deposed emperor so when the princes become emperor, he decided to kill the Shen family. The Lin family saw what happened to the Shen family so decided to hide this fact & turn to the Zhao family whose father was favoured by the new emperor. These documents could have compromised the Lin should ZMT used them back then but since she was dying so she gave them to XLX so that she could use them against the Lin to gain her freedom from servitude. But the video was showing XLX reading them & burning the docs with LJQ injured & watching her do so.

I understand from someone that the breakdown will be 31 episodes + 16 episodes afterwards. I am not quite sure whether they will do a break in between 2 parts.

Their corruption will be uncovered by XLX & LJQ.

The Du siblings are trying to set LJQ marry her. When the plan didn’t work out, they came up with the plague illness with Miss Du poisoning the water in Lin’s residence. This leads to the pandemic around the Lin’s mansion which resulted in the closure of their residence. XLX has noticed some strange things around the pandemic so she wants to test the water & has found out that Miss du used a rare poison to poison the water & then take over the lin’s with the help of her brother. I don’t know all the details but she was playing the victim card by taking the poison herself & managed to run away with the outlaws. He brother also betrayed LJQ in the battlefield but was wounded but died later.

I fear that both siblings Miss Du & her brother are the villains in the upcoming episodes from what I have seen on videos from Chinese fans.

It may not be the plague but Miss Du that poisoned the water being used at the Lin’s residence. I fear that she’s trying to force LJQ to marry her so she’s trying to get information on XLX through her friend.

@minki4 in next few episodes, the sister poisoned the water in the Lin’s residence & created some kind of chicken pox illnesses given that she is specialised in herbal medicines. FL was quick assessing her out & has decided to boil the water & managed to expose her if I am not mistaken.

I fear that the siblings are up to no good & force the marriage on to LJQ. I saw a video of hers on XHX saying that “she has to get married at the of the day so why not marrying someone rich”. There was another video showing the brother trying to kill LJQ & she was trying to kill XLX.

I think XLX is her survival mode, working hard to get more money & free her & adoptive parents from slavery. She may still have to be cautious with LJQ given that he called their engagement off & hide her real identity until she has all the evidence to clear her family’s name. Someone on XHS said that LJQ only found out about her real identity after they got married & had a child in the novel so she may not have the same interests in him for a while.

I find it quite interesting to watch the life of both XLX & ZXT who are both born in wealthy families. Despite the fall from grace of her Shen’s family, ZLX grew up in kind hearted family that taught her values, kindness towards the weakest so she’s always trying to help others even though some weren’t kind to her from the beginning. In contrast, ZXT grew up in a family that did not value women, arranged her marriage to LJQ to cover up her pregnancy to the cousin. Her mum did not even have the courage to stand up for her own daughter so ZXT is only interested in money & thinks this is the only way for her to get her freedom. She was mean, ruthless to those beneath her & the grass divination played by XLX with the scholar was the reminder of not only LJQ needs to be kind, treat his servants fairly as karma can bite anyone anytime.

Agreed, as mentioned above, her grandfather told her off for falling asleep when he was trying to teach her the divination technique that the scholar was dying to learn from him & he chose not to teach him.

I was thinking about that as well. Didn’t her grandfather said to her that the scholar was dying for him to teach that game & here he’s trying to teach her so that she could play against her peers but instead she doze off?
