We just have to be patient. In the novel, they have 1 girl, 3 boys and a happy marriage. YTX has army of concubines, gosh I hate that idea when men can do whatever they want & Yake has a sickly daughter. Yake is just bitter, jealous & was no use for the Yu family. Mama Yu said in some of the chapters that she wish FTY would marry YJX instead. Karma is a biatch lol.

The raining scene at the end where ZL came to pick FTY up at the Yu mansion was beautiful. I may be imagining but saw a short footage of FTY being upset with ZL & walked off the scene 😭.

FYK is just bitter, jealous with no common sense to elevate the Yu’s family status. In the novel, she has a little girl & as you know the Yu’s family prefers boys as they will take over the family’s prestige. So YK having only one girl will not give her any advantages in the Yu family, hence the scumbag YJX has an army of concubines 😜.

Like ZL said in the novel, it’s harder for YJX be alive & suffer with the fall of his family (stripped of their wealth, titles to become just commoners) all than die. For Asians, it’s the worst outcome in life.

I haven’t read all the novel but I think she is one of many concubines that scumbag Jing Xiu had. She was pregnant of his child & had a miscarriage due to him. FYK has always been jealous of her & another concubine who was pregnant with him. With the help of FTY, concubine Wu was released by the Yu family so she could go back to her family.

I think the Yu family may be the main villains using their power in court to carry out corruption, crimes, bad deeds to ZL & FTY. Both FTY & ZL will need to build all evidences, allies & resources to get rid of the Yu family. I’m just wondering why FTY said to Madame Yu that she already set the 4 evidences against their family a while. I hope that FTY is playing them by burning the copies of evidences, let them off guards & strike them. Their fall will be at the end just like in the novel?

Yu JingXiu will be accused of having an affair with a married woman, killed her husband. He should have been executed but ZL asked the emperor to let him live so he could see through the suffering that he inflicted on others. He was stripped of his titles & exiled as a commoner.

In the novel, papa Yu will be accused of corruption related to horses sale, stripped of his titles & exiled but died on the way.

YJX & FYK are a match in heaven LOL. They completely deserve each other. FYK pretends that she is part of the rich, yawn. The girl is so delusional & didn’t even know her husband tried to get FTY.

She’s also very beautiful actress.

They’re both very sweet. I have not read all the whole novel but the chapters I have read so far have shown that they are very much in love with each others & have a very balanced & sweet relationship.

Exactly, it really shows in ep 16 on the gates/maze formation that he has no common sense, no strategy & no practical thinking the minute General Mo decided to change the formation, he couldn’t find the way out. Madame Yu, his mum is smarter in her schemes than him.

I would say that he maybe a book smart guy but is last in life. He is a scumbag & doesn’t need to harm FTY if he doesn’t want to marry her. He nearly ruined her life & has the audacity to use some lame excuses to get her back. Yu Jing Xiu & Yake is a perfect match in heaven, they both deserve each other. I’m glad that FTY just laid it in his face.

I’m afraid he will be a pain in the a$$ for ML & FL. He thinks that with his family’s rank & title, he could squash anyone beneath him. No wonder, FTY thought he was a book smart guy but a very bad judge of character in the novel. I hope the scriptwriters would give him a bad ending as in the novel [I.e accused of having an affair with a married woman, manslaughter (killed her husband) so that he could be with her. He was stripped of all his exams titles, become a commoner & exiled for his crimes.]

I like that drama but the ending was so so for me.
