Totally, I saw video of hers telling Wei Rae’s biological mum that Wei Rao was her real daughter & that she swapped the baby pendant when she was born to Jundai ( 4 th aunt Heng is her real mum) . Her parents were controlled by the first aunt, she forced Bitao to give the poisonous drink to Wei Rao. Bitao swapped the drink & Jundai died afterwards. Bitao is also killed trying to protect Wei Rao.
Correction: my apologies, I was wrong about Bitao. Wei Rao found the longevity lock when the baby swap occurred to prove that she was Wei Rao. Bitao whose parents were detained by the first aunt was forced to swap the longevity lock with a fake one which led consort Lin to nearly kill Wei Rao, he own flesh. Luckily grandma Zhou, consort’s mum came & got to the bottom of things and her real identity was revealed then. I did see the video of Wei Rao throwing the longevity lock at the consort, walking away in tears.

I despise these scenes in cdramas but luckily he did not go further. Poor YPJ, I don’t see her being better off with JXT either. Chinese fans are saying that JXT has already a Japanese wife in Japan & using YPJ is just a cover for his spying activities.

I hope this won’t happen in the drama. Chinese fans on XZS said the scriptwriters used the novel as a base but then changed the plot quite a lot (I.e: YCX survived the war but crippled (lost one of his leg), reunited with YPJ & their son). JXT framed YCX for the fire that killed YPJ’s mum. JXT kidnapped JPJ whilst she was pregnant with YCX’s second baby, took away her baby but luckily TZY helped her & asked a nurse to give the child to YCX. I hope these events truly happen in the drama. People are also saying JXT is already married to a Japanese wife in Japan & him trying to marry YPJ is just a cover as he is a spy.

Some fans posted on XHS about YCX calling his engagement off with TZY & her slapping him. I can’t believe that some fans said oh my poor baby about TZY, you deserve much better than that. Wait what? The girl has everything & everyone at her feet and yet she looks down and bullies people like there is no tomorrow. I also saw that later one, she paid for people to kidnap YPJ & throwing her into the river.
Why do I feel that Kuangbing ( 4th sister’s husband) & Wan Chao ( ML’s dad concubine) are former lovers and they are there for revenge against the Yu family? He does fall for 4th Yu sister in the end. I read on XHS that the YPJ had a tragic ending in the novel but the it is different in this drama where many changes were made.

She had a miscarriage whilst trying to save JXT, who despite knowing the truth refused to help YPJ. When she was pregnant of her second child with YCX, she was put in prison by JXT, forced her to take drugs. She managed to escape but was not recognised by YCX & frozen to death in a temple. YCX mistakenly killed his own son with YPJ.
In the drama, the love story between YCX & YPJ would be built first with YPJ teaching YCX to love others & himself. Then comes the duty to defend their homeland in the republic era dramas. In the republic of china era, 9 out of 10 love stories have a SE but I hope that they would survive, a family of 3.
