Her main agenda was to kill the ML, and have his son who is manipulated controlled by her since his childhood sit in the throne, so that she can enjoy power throughout! So yeah, she is very disgusting, but don't worry she will soon meet her end, I think by episode 20, because even in the novel it was in the middle!

He was just there, as he said to FL, he was just looking at the flowers. FL gave him so many hints about the modern world, he could not catch any! I think they deliberately did it to make people be in doubt! Hence even made the same actor play father-son!
But no, he is a 2D character. Just have a rewatch in those scenes, ML always wears black, his son wears white!

When did they show ML's son transmigrated? Its just the same actor, its to confuse people! If I remember correctly, ML is the one who transmigrated 15 years back. The scenes you were shown him talking to a servant, seeing him in the mirror, planting SOS, are scenes 15 years back. He wears black clothes. Because its his son, its being played by the same actor, but he is just a 2D character, he wears white clothes!

ML's son/crown prince did not transmigrate right? Its just I think the actor who played ML's childhood is also playing his son, hence the confusion. It was ML who put up SOS in his childhood, crown prince is just a character of the novel right?

ML was hardly 13-14 when he was raped by a maid to have that child! The entire thing was orchestrated by his step mother. ML was poisoned, drugged, manipulated his entire life. He was even raped. His step mother killed the maid to control the crown prince.
ML is seriously ill, has bad headaches due to the poison he was fed. He doesn't trust anyone, hence became a tyrant.
He has done nothing to his son, he is not a terrible father, they just don't have a bond. The son is fully controlled by Empress Dowager, and he would later even try to kill ML and FL.

Crown prince did not transmigrate. ML did, when he was 12-13 maybe, he had learnt English in his school!

ML falls in love, he even accepts it, doesn't tell FL that, but since the second episode its very evident he is in love. FL debates, but she likes him too! But I don't think they get together before 20-22 at least! But because they are always together, very domestic, hence it feels they are always dating!
Right, poor ML really has a lot of trauma! I am not telling you everything because I think it might be entertaining if you watch it, but he really faced hell in those 10 years making him a tyrant!

1. Well there are a lot of people, but the main focus will always be the lead couple! There would be a side couple as well, but in the novel they did not put a lot of focus on it! The lead couple are not officially together, its just lingering feelings, and there are a lot to happen, but because they are partners they will go through it together, particularly due to the Empress Dowager, Main villain Prince Duan as well as to protect the empire from drought. Then the entire ML is poisoned fiasco, so a lot to happen to show for 32 episodes!

2. ML transmigrated as a kid, when he was in middle school. He did wait for someone from his real world! When FL came and he realized, he lied to her, so that FL feels there is someone with her, so she doesn't feel alone, and she trust him. Also because ML did want to hide the agony of more than a decade that is faced by him! Truth will be revealed later.

3. That person is a closeted transwoman. She was the king's mother's friend. So she tries to protect the king. That's not a magic, its a kind of thing she knows, bone breaking/changing some trick!
