I completely get it that this is a drama in 90s, and society was not as progressive as today. But, Ma-jin is so bloody sexist, my blood boils each time he opens his mouth. And I do get it and ML cannot say much to him because he really needs him to work in his company. I seriously hope he has a drastic character change, in the remaining 8 episodes.
There is no rebirth, that was only in the novel. The drama does not have rebirth plot. Wei Brothers are dead.
Here the synopsis is wrong. Its actually copy pasted from the novel's synopsis. The reincarnation plot is not the part of the drama. I checked WeTv, there's synopsis is right. Even in the novel, the Wei brothers are supposed to stay dead, so it would be like bringing back the glory of the Wei Family, and a forbidden love affair of brother-in law and sister-in law, and palace politics.
I love how everyone has a story. The ML's mom has finally learnt how to do her job, and I love the dynamics are between her and the FL's baby brother. Even Nammo's mom has a story. I love how everything is interconnected, but each of them still has their own path. Also would like if the loan shark comes back, his scenes with ML were so nice. Thailand era is starting, and visuals were so pretty. Huhh, still gushing over the confession, hopefully we are getting more of that tomorrow.
Its just so nice to see a normal drama with so much detailing, and actors who are not just pretty but can act. I mean both Junho and Minha have so much capabilities as actors. The writer/director should also receive applause for this, just great work done. I really don't know about ratings and stuff, neither do I care, but people who aren't watching are missing a lot. If they are able to maintain the same prettiness in the next half of the drama that remains, this can easily go as one of the best dramas ever made.
Okay I saw the confession scene! I am not normal now! I am screaming!! One of the most genuine normal, pretty confessions ever. Just heartfelt, nothing overboard, just like how the drama is. I am so thankful its not one of those dramas where the confession is in the last episode. Its so PRETTY!
I don't think she's arrogant. Rather she says the things that she knows her mistress can't say.
I am not speaking about this drama only, I have seen in many dramas. Here, she criticized the ML blaming him for the injury of the FL, when it is the decision of FL to kneel. Plus in the first episode, she spoke rudely to FL's mom calling her biased. I am in support of that, she did right, but I don't think that's her place to do that, like if she was playing a character of a friend or sister, she could have. On the other hand, MLs always have ultra sweet guards. So I was just pointing out that even in this drama, they have same trope.
I don't understand the trope of arrogant maids of FL in cdramas. I mean first they get a lot of say and then they become irritating. On the other hand, guards of ML are generally very sweet and nice. Such a common trope in most dramas.
Exactly. The leads were superb, they were enemies first, but then they became friends, then lovers, they were always very supportive. So you can watch it easily, there is no angst.
She’s the widow of Wei Yun’s older brother, she’s his sister-in-law. You should watch to understand, but…
Nope he knows they were not in love. He knows she is lying to all of them. I think that is why when his misunderstanding gets cleared, he falls for her. Plus there was no ceremony, his brother did not marry her, she declared herself as married to his corpse. So I don't think its a betrayal from the ML's side. In some cultures, marrying brother's wife after his death, is done, to keep the dowry, betrothal gifts in the family. Also, if they have kids, then instead of going with the mother, the child would be in his family, and a real uncle would be better for a child as a father, than actually a man who is a complete stranger. Yes it can be considered a little weird, but after a person's death, more than emotions, practicality is considered. But this is not done due to love, its family arrangement. But because in the drama, its a noble family, they don't allow that. It would be like a fight for love against the society.
They were not the leads. The leads were nice, supportive, very beautiful. They were happy, no toxic love triangle angle. It was the ML's sister who got married, and got entangled in a love triangle. Some of the people even found that entertaining. This drama was really nice. So do watch it. If you don't like the second leads story, you could just skip those portions. Bad, as in, it was really toxic. It started of as entertaining, then went on to be toxic, then got sympathetic, as per my perception.
Marrying brother's wife is not very common in noble families, if it was wife's sister, that wouldn't be a problem.…
In the novel, the only one against it was ML's mom, but she died in the drama. Also the novel was pretty much more about politics. But because even the title here is Fight for Love, so maybe that's what it is, the leads would be fighting for their love against society. So yeah, what you say is making so much sense.
It depends on the role. Here in the drama, the FL is 3 years elder than the ML. So the actress seemingly looking…
Age never matters to me usually. Also for tropes such as these, where ML is supposed to fall in love with his elder sister in law, its pretty normal, if the female actress is elder. They both doing excellent jobs.
FL doesn't die, doesn't go back in time. There is no reincarnation plot in the drama. That was only in the novel.
If I am not wrong, rebirth plots are not allowed to air in China. So usually if there is any such trope, they either make it a sad ending, or show it as a dream sequence or something, so I guess they completely dissolved that plot from the novel.
Was only Ep6 aired today? But WeTv shows Ep7 has been released for express. But Ep 7 is not out on K i s s k h.
Its out now. Everyday 2 episodes are supposed to release. But the second episode, is express in WeTv, so it releases 3-4 hours later than the first episode, in all other sites.
- at the beginning of the drama, is she already reincarnated or it didn't happen yet?And what happens to the whole…
In the novel her whole family was alive. But in the drama, her father died, her brother is alive. I don't remember if she had more brothers. I think they wanted to say her father died, and brother got injured, and defeated, so it was like a fall of a military family, some disgrace. This was all because of a traitor whom she wants to find out, that's why she entered Wei Household. In the novel, there was no such angle.
